A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized

(2) Make sure that the access platform is in position at the applicable passenger/crew door:

- At zone 831 (841) for the FWD passenger/crew door.
- At zone 832 (842) for the AFT passsenger/crew door.
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Preparation for the Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Buzzer
(1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Put the electrical connectors of the wire harnesses (5) and (9) on the screws (4) and (8).
(3) Install the screws (4) and (8) in the connectors (6) and (7) and tighten them.
(4) Put the buzzer housing (3) into the door lining (1) and attach it with the knurled nut (2).
(5) Connect the buzzer to the SLIDE ARMED indicator light, if necessary.
Subtask 52-73-23-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.

(4) Put the buzzer housing (3) into the door lining (1) and attach it with the knurled nut (2).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Close Access
(1) Obey the special precautions after work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002).
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Close the applicable passenger/crew door 831 ( 841) or 832 ( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Obey the special precautions after work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002).
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Close the applicable passenger/crew door 831 ( 841) or 832 ( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
