A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the access platform is in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

A. Installation of the SLIDE ARMED Indicator-Light
(1) Install the SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (2) on the lining panel (7).
(2) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Connect the electrical connector (3) to the electrical receptacle (4).

(2) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Connect the electrical connector (3) to the electrical receptacle (4).
B. Installation of the Lining Panel
(1) Install the insulation.
(2) Install the lining panel.

D. Operational Test
(1) Do an operational test of the SLIDE ARMED indicator-light of the emergency exit hatches. (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-00-710-002)

Subtask 52-73-21-420-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Arming of the Emergency Escape Slide
(1) Arm the escape slide of the emergency exit (7) as follows:
(a) With the WRENCH - SPANNER turn the head of the latch pin (6) a quarter turn clockwise to extend the latch pin (6).
Subtask 52-73-21-410-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Arm the escape slide of the emergency exit (7) as follows:
(a) With the WRENCH - SPANNER turn the head of the latch pin (6) a quarter turn clockwise to extend the latch pin (6).
NOTE: The SLIDE ARMED (2) indicator-light comes on.
(b) Install and close the flap (5) on the emergency exit (7). NOTE: The SLIDE ARMED (2) indicator-light goes off.
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the applicable FWD passenger/crew door 831 or 841 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001)
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
