(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized

(2) Make sure that the access platform is in position.

A. Installation of the Proximity Switch
(1) Install the proximity switch (2) on the support (3).
(2) Install the washer (4) and the nut (5).
(3) Tighten the nut (5). Safety it with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(4) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (1).
(5) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the proximity switch (2).
(6) Adjust the proximity switch (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-71-00-820-009).
Subtask 52-73-11-865-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the proximity switch (2) on the support (3).
(2) Install the washer (4) and the nut (5).
(3) Tighten the nut (5). Safety it with
(4) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (1).
(5) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the proximity switch (2).
(6) Adjust the proximity switch (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-71-00-820-009).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Operational Test
(1) Do an operational test of the warning system of the emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-00-710-002).

A. Installation of the Lining Panel
(1) Install the insulation blanket.
(2) Install the lining panel:
(a) FOR [5WN2] (PROX SW-HANDLE, R FWD EMER EXIT ESC SLIDE)

(b) FOR [5WN1] (PROX SW-HANDLE, L FWD EMER EXIT ESC SLIDE)

(2) Install the lining panel:

B. Arming of the Escape Slide of the Emergency Exits
(1) Arm the escape slide of the emergency exits (9) as follows:
(a) With a WRENCH - SPANNER, turn the head of the latch pin (8), a quarter turn clockwise to extend the latch pin (8).
Subtask 52-73-11-410-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Arm the escape slide of the emergency exits (9) as follows:
(a) With a WRENCH - SPANNER, turn the head of the latch pin (8), a quarter turn clockwise to extend the latch pin (8).
NOTE: The white SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (10) comes on.
(b) Install and close the flaps (7) on the emergency exits (9). NOTE: The white SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (10) goes off.
C. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the applicable FWD passenger/crew door 831 or 841 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 52-73-11-862-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the applicable FWD passenger/crew door 831 or 841 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
