   (1) Do the EIS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (2) On the ECAM control panel, push the DOOR key (the "DOOR/OXY" page comes into view).

A. Operational Test of the Warning System Related to the Emergency Exit Doors
   (1) Do the tests that follow:
NOTE: If the task is for FAA MMEL 52-70-01, only the information related to the "SLIDE" indication on the ECAM "DOOR/OXY" page is applicable.
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the forward left hatch (forward left emergency-exit-door):
  • Pull the cover flap (2) down.
  • Remove the cover flap (2) from the hatch lining.
On the lower ECAM DU, on the "DOOR/OXY" page:
  • The symbol of the forward left emergency-exit-door and the "EMER EXIT" message come into view in amber.
  • SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1 (3) comes on.
  • Turn the head of the latch pin (1) a quarter turn counterclockwise to retract the latch pin to the DISARMED position.
  • SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1 (3) goes off.

On the lower ECAM DU, on the "DOOR/OXY" page:
  • The white "SLIDE" indication goes out of view.
2.On the aft left hatch (aft left emergency-exit-door):
  • Pull the cover flap (2) down.
  • Remove the cover flap (2) from the hatch lining.
  • SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1 (3) comes on.

On the lower ECAM DU, on the "DOOR/OXY" page:
  • The symbol of the aft left emergency-exit-door comes into view in amber.
  • Turn the head of the latch pin (1) a quarter turn counterclockwise to retract the latch pin to the DISARMED position.
  • SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1 (3) goes off.
3.On the forward left hatch (forward left emergency-exit-door):
  • Push the latch pin (1) against the spring.
  • Turn the head of the latch pin (1) a quarter turn clockwise to extend the latch pin in the ARMED position.
  • SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1 (3) comes on.
  • Install the cover flap (2) on the hatch lining.
  • Push the cover flap (2) against the hatch.
  • The symbol of the forward left emergency-exit-door becomes green.
  • SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1 (3) goes off.
4.On the aft left hatch (aft left emergency-exit-door):
  • Push the latch pin (1) against the spring.
  • Turn the head of the latch pin (1) a quarter turn clockwise to extend the latch pin in the ARMED position.
  • SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1 (3) comes on.

On the lower ECAM DU, on the "DOOR/OXY" page:
  • The white "SLIDE" indication comes into view.
  • Install the cover flap (2) on the hatch lining.
  • Push the cover flap (2) against the hatch.
  • SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1 (3) goes off.

On the lower ECAM DU, on the "DOOR/OXY" page:
  • The symbol of the aft left emergency-exit-door becomes green.
  • The "EMER EXIT" message goes out of view.
   (2) Make sure that the clearance between the target and the related proximity switch is in the limits (Ref. AMM TASK 52-71-13-400-001).
   (3) Do steps (1) and (2) for the right emergency-exit doors.
NOTE: The forward right hatch is on the forward right emergency-exit-door and the aft right hatch is on the aft right emergency-exit-door.
NOTE: The FIN of the SLIDE ARMED indicator light (3) on the right emergency-exit-door is 2WN2.
5. Close-up

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
