WARNING:
BEFORE YOU START WORK ON THE DOOR, MAKE SURE THAT:
Subtask 52-71-13-865-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - THE EMERGENCY CONTROL HANDLE IS IN THE DISARMED POSITION WITH THE SAFETY PIN INSTALLED.
- THE PERCUSSION LEVER OF THE DOOR-DAMPER AND EMERGENCY-OPERATION CYLINDER IS IN THE DISARMED POSITION WITH THE SAFETY PIN INSTALLED.
A. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Get Access
(1) Open the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Put the safety barrier in position at the door frame to safety the opening.
(3) Make sure that the special precaution procedure on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder is done (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
(4) Remove the cabin lining from the applicable fuselage area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-010) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009).
(5) Remove the insulation mats from the applicable area.
4. Procedure(1) Open the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Put the safety barrier in position at the door frame to safety the opening.
(3) Make sure that the special precaution procedure on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder is done (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
(4) Remove the cabin lining from the applicable fuselage area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-010) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009).
(5) Remove the insulation mats from the applicable area.

A. Removal of the Proximity Switches
(1) Remove the proximity sensor (2) as follows:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the proximity sensor (2).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(d) Remove the locknut (7) with the lockwasher (4).
(e) Remove the proximity sensor (2) from the switch bracket (3).
(2) Remove the switch bracket (3) as follows:
(a) Remove the spring (22) from the switch bracket (3) and the link (21).
(b) Remove the safety ring (5), the washer (6) and the pin (19) to disconnect the link (21) from the switch bracket (3).
(c) Remove the link (21) from the switch bracket (3).
(d) Remove the nuts (8), the washers (11) and the screws (12).
(e) Remove the switch bracket (3) from the fuselage structure.
(3) Remove the switch actuation mechanism as follows:
(a) Remove the safety ring (24), the washer (23) and the pin (20) to disconnect the connection rod (14) from the link (21).
(b) Remove and discard the cotter pin (16) from the pin (18).
(c) Remove the pin (18) and the washer (17) to disconnect the segment assy (15) from the structure.
(d) If necessary, disassemble the connection rod (14) from the segment assy (15).
(1) Remove the proximity sensor (2) as follows:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the proximity sensor (2).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(c) Remove and discard the lockwire from the locknut (7). (d) Remove the locknut (7) with the lockwasher (4).
(e) Remove the proximity sensor (2) from the switch bracket (3).
(2) Remove the switch bracket (3) as follows:
(a) Remove the spring (22) from the switch bracket (3) and the link (21).
(b) Remove the safety ring (5), the washer (6) and the pin (19) to disconnect the link (21) from the switch bracket (3).
(c) Remove the link (21) from the switch bracket (3).
(d) Remove the nuts (8), the washers (11) and the screws (12).
(e) Remove the switch bracket (3) from the fuselage structure.
(3) Remove the switch actuation mechanism as follows:
(a) Remove the safety ring (24), the washer (23) and the pin (20) to disconnect the connection rod (14) from the link (21).
(b) Remove and discard the cotter pin (16) from the pin (18).
(c) Remove the pin (18) and the washer (17) to disconnect the segment assy (15) from the structure.
(d) If necessary, disassemble the connection rod (14) from the segment assy (15).
