A. Get Access
(1) Open the applicable cargo door to get access to the door sill area (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position for the applicable cargo door.
(3) If necessary, remove access panel(s) 825AR and/or 826AR to get access to the switch mechanism
(Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-14-000-801) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-14-000-801).

Subtask 52-71-12-010-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Open the applicable cargo door to get access to the door sill area (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position for the applicable cargo door.
(3) If necessary, remove access panel(s) 825AR and/or 826AR, 826BR and 826CR to get access to the switch mechanism
(Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-14-000-801) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-14-000-801).

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-71-12-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Proximity Switch

Proximity Switches 30WV and 32WV ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the proximity sensor (23) as follows:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (21) from the proximity sensor (23).
(b) Install CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connector (21) and the receptacle of the proximity sensor (23).
(c) Remove the nuts (26), the washers (25), the bolts (22) and the proximity sensor (23) from the fuselage fitting (24).
(2) Remove the target (31) as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (34), the washers (33) and the bolts (30) from the target lever (32).
(b) Remove the target (31) from the target lever (32).

A. Removal of the Proximity Switch

Proximity Switches 30WV and 32WV ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the proximity sensor (23) as follows:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (21) from the proximity sensor (23).
(b) Install the CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connector (21) and the receptacle of the proximity sensor (23).
(c) Remove the screws (22), the washers (25) and the proximity sensor (23) from the fuselage fitting (24).
(2) Remove the target (31) as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (34), the washers (33) and the bolts (30) from the target lever (32).
(b) Remove the target (31) from the target lever (32).
