A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the applicable cargo door is correctly closed and locked (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002)
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position for the applicable cargo door.
(3) Remove access panel(s) 825AR and/or 826AR to remove the handle flap
(Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-14-000-801) and (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-14-000-801).

Subtask 52-71-12-010-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the applicable cargo door is correctly closed and locked (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002)
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position for the applicable cargo door.
(3) Remove the screws (14), the washers (13) and the inner access panel (12) from the AFT cargo door.

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-71-12-020-050-B

A. Removal of Proximity Switch

Proximity Switches 28WV and 34WV ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the proximity sensor (4) as follows:
(a) Pull the door handle (6) away from the recess of the door structure but keep the cargo door latched.
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the proximity sensor (4).
(c) Install CAP - BLANKINGS on the electrical connector (3) and the receptacle of the proximity sensor (4).
(d) Remove the nuts (10), the washers (11), the bolts (2) and the proximity sensor (4) from the bracket (1).
(2) Remove the target (9) as follows:
(a) Pull the door handle (6) away from the recess of the door structure but keep the cargo door latched.
(b) Remove the nuts (8), the washers (7), the bolts (5) and the target (9) from the door handle (6).
