Subtask 52-71-00-820-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
Proximity Switches (4WN1, 4WN2, 7WN1, 7WN2, 13WV1, 13WV2, 17WV1 and 17WV2) of the Passenger/Crew Doors ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(1) Remove the 98D52103500000 SAFETY PIN - SLIDE ARMING.
(2) Put the emergency control handle in the ARMED position.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the proximity switch (1).
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Connect the 355M03210000 CHECKING TOOL-DOORS or the G55M03210000 CHECKING TOOL - DOORS to the electrical connector (8) of the proximity switch (1).
(6) Remove the nut (3).
(7) Remove the washer (4) or (5) and discard it.
(8) Turn the target (2) until the NEAR indicator light comes on.
(9) Make sure that the target (2) and the proximity switch (1) do not touch.
(10) Turn the target (2) in the opposite direction until the FAR indicator light comes on.
(11) From this position, turn the target (2) between two and two and a half turns in the direction of the proximity switch (1).
(12) Apply Cetyl Alcohol base Lubricant-Fasteners Water base - (Material No.03RBB1) on the threads of the target (2).
(13) FOR [4WN1] (PROX SW-HANDLE, L FWD ESC SLIDE), [4WN2] (PROX SW-HANDLE, R FWD ESC SLIDE)
Install the new AIPC 52-11-22-02-214 WASHER (4) or the new AIPC 52-11-81-31-214 WASHER (4).
(14) FOR [7WN1] (PROX SW-HANDLE, L AFT ESC SLIDE), [7WN2] (PROX SW-HANDLE, R AFT ESC SLIDE)
Install the new AIPC 52-13-22-02-214 WASHER (5) or the new AIPC 52-13-84-31-214 WASHER (5).
(15) Install the nut (3).
(16) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 0.4 and 0.3 m.daN (35.40 and 26.55 lbf.in )

(17) Safety the nut (3) with the washer (4) or (5).
(18) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (8).
(19) Disconnect the 355M03210000 CHECKING TOOL-DOORS or the G55M03210000 CHECKING TOOL - DOORS from the electrical connector (8) of the proximity switch (1).
(20) Connect the electrical connector (8) to the proximity switch (1).
(21) Put the emergency control handle in the DISARMED position.
(22) Install the 98D52103500000 SAFETY PIN - SLIDE ARMING.

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the proximity switch (1).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Connect the 355M03210000 CHECKING TOOL-DOORS or G55M03210000 CHECKING TOOL - DOORS to the electrical connector (8) of the proximity switch (1).
(4) Remove the nut (3).
(5) Remove the washer (6) or (7) and discard it.
(6) Turn the target (2) until the NEAR indicator light comes on.
(7) Make sure that the target (2) and the proximity switch (1) do not touch.
(8) Turn the target (2) in the opposite direction until the FAR indicator light comes on.
(9) From this position, turn the target (2) between two and two and a half turns in the direction of the proximity switch (1).
(10) Apply Cetyl Alcohol base Lubricant-Fasteners Water base - (Material No.03RBB1) on the threads of the target (2).

Install the new AIPC 52-11-11-08-230 WASHER (6) or the new AIPC 52-11-81-10-670 WASHER (6).
(12) FOR [17WV1] (PROX SW-HANDLE, L AFT PAX/CREW DOOR), [17WV2] (PROX SW-HANDLE, R AFT PAX/CREW DOOR)
Install the new AIPC 52-13-11-08-190 WASHER (7) or the new AIPC 52-13-84-10-630 WASHER (7).
(13) Install the nut (3).
(14) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 0.4 and 0.3 m.daN (35.40 and 26.55 lbf.in )

(15) Safety the nut (3) with the washer (6) or (7).
(16) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (8).
(17) Disconnect the 355M03210000 CHECKING TOOL-DOORS or the G55M03210000 CHECKING TOOL - DOORS from the electrical connector (8) of the proximity switch (1).
(18) Connect the electrical connector (8) to the proximity switch (1).

(a) Open the applicable passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(b) Obey the special precautions before you start work on the passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).
Subtask 52-71-00-865-075-A WARNING:
DO NOT OPEN THE PASSENGER/CREW DOOR IF THE WIND SPEED IS MORE THAN 65 KNOTS.
WARNING:
BEFORE YOU START WORK ON THE DOOR, MAKE SURE THAT:
- THE EMERGENCY CONTROL HANDLE IS IN THE DISARMED POSITION WITH THE SAFETY PIN INSTALLED.
- THE PERCUSSION LEVER OF THE DOOR-DAMPER AND EMERGENCY-OPERATION CYLINDER IS IN THE DISARMED POSITION WITH THE SAFETY PIN INSTALLED.
WARNING:
STOP THE OPENING PROCEDURE IF THE RED WARNING LIGHT FLASHES. IF THE RED WARNING LIGHT FLASHES, REMAINING PRESSURE CAN CAUSE THE DOOR TO OPEN SUDDENLY AND CAN:
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at passenger/crew door 831, 841, 832 or 842. - KILL OR CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY TO PERSONS
- CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(a) Open the applicable passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(b) Obey the special precautions before you start work on the passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).

Install the new AIPC 52-13-22-02-214 WASHER (5) or the new AIPC 52-13-84-31-214 WASHER (5).
(15) Install the nut (3).
(16) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 0.4 and 0.3 m.daN (35.40 and 26.55 lbf.in )
. (17) Safety the nut (3) with the washer (4) or (5).
(18) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (8).
(19) Disconnect the 355M03210000 CHECKING TOOL-DOORS or the G55M03210000 CHECKING TOOL - DOORS from the electrical connector (8) of the proximity switch (1).
(20) Connect the electrical connector (8) to the proximity switch (1).
(21) Put the emergency control handle in the DISARMED position.
(22) Install the 98D52103500000 SAFETY PIN - SLIDE ARMING.
WARNING:
DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR DURING THE ADJUSTMENT.
B. Adjustment of the Proximity Switches (13WV1, 13WV2, 17WV1 and 17WV2)
Proximity Switches (4WN1, 4WN2, 7WN1, 7WN2, 13WV1, 13WV2, 17WV1 and 17WV2) of the Passenger/Crew Doors ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Connect the 355M03210000 CHECKING TOOL-DOORS or G55M03210000 CHECKING TOOL - DOORS to the electrical connector (8) of the proximity switch (1).
(4) Remove the nut (3).
(5) Remove the washer (6) or (7) and discard it.
(6) Turn the target (2) until the NEAR indicator light comes on.
(7) Make sure that the target (2) and the proximity switch (1) do not touch.
(8) Turn the target (2) in the opposite direction until the FAR indicator light comes on.
(9) From this position, turn the target (2) between two and two and a half turns in the direction of the proximity switch (1).
(10) Apply Cetyl Alcohol base Lubricant-Fasteners Water base - (Material No.03RBB1) on the threads of the target (2).

Install the new AIPC 52-11-11-08-230 WASHER (6) or the new AIPC 52-11-81-10-670 WASHER (6).
(12) FOR [17WV1] (PROX SW-HANDLE, L AFT PAX/CREW DOOR), [17WV2] (PROX SW-HANDLE, R AFT PAX/CREW DOOR)
Install the new AIPC 52-13-11-08-190 WASHER (7) or the new AIPC 52-13-84-10-630 WASHER (7).
(13) Install the nut (3).
(14) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 0.4 and 0.3 m.daN (35.40 and 26.55 lbf.in )
. (15) Safety the nut (3) with the washer (6) or (7).
(16) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (8).
(17) Disconnect the 355M03210000 CHECKING TOOL-DOORS or the G55M03210000 CHECKING TOOL - DOORS from the electrical connector (8) of the proximity switch (1).
(18) Connect the electrical connector (8) to the proximity switch (1).

(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the proximity switch (1).
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Connect the 355M03210000 CHECKING TOOL-DOORS or G55M03210000 CHECKING TOOL - DOORS to the electrical connector (8) of the proximity switch (1).
(6) Remove the nut (3).
(7) Remove the washer (4) or (5) and discard it.
