(3) Obey the special precautions before you start work on the passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).

(3) Obey the special precautions before you start work on the passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).
(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at applicable emergency exit 833, 843 or 834 or 844.
(5) Open the applicable emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(6) Obey the special precautions before you start work on the emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).

A. Check of the Defective Proximity Switch
(1) Clean the defective proximity switch with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace the defective proximity switch.
1 If a new proximity switch is available:
Subtask 52-70-00-040-055-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the defective proximity switch with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace the defective proximity switch.
1 If a new proximity switch is available:
- Remove the defective proximity switch (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-000-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-000-003) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-000-004).
- Install the new proximity switch (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-400-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-400-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-400-003) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-400-004).
NOTE: If a proximity switch from the avionics compartment was used, the MMEL for the avionics-compartment door indication (Ref. AMM TASK 52-70-00-040-004) will be applicable if the avionics-compartment door indication is incorrect.
- Do a check of the proximity switch that you will remove. To do this, do an operational test of the door warning system of the related avionics compartment doors (Ref. AMM TASK 52-71-00-710-001).
- Remove the proximity switch from the avionics compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-71-14-000-001).
- Install this proximity switch on the applicable passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-400-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-400-002) or emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-400-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-11-400-004).
- Refer to the MMEL document for dispatch conditions.
