A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the applicable avionics-compartment access door 811 or 812 or 822 or 824.
(2) Manually open the related avionics-compartment access door 811 or 812 or 822 or 824.

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-70-00-210-056-A

A. Visual Check to Make Sure that the Avionics-Compartment Access Door is Correctly Closed
(1) With the door open, move the handle so as to operate the locking system.
(2) Make sure that the locks get out of their housing and operate correctly.
(3) Put the handle in the door open position.
(4) Close the avionics-compartment access door and lock it.

B. Entry in the Log Book.
(1) Make an entry in the aircraft log book to record that:

the AVIONICS indication is defective on the lower ECAM DU
the avionics-compartment access door(s) are closed and locked.

5. Close-up
Subtask 52-70-00-410-054-A

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Manually close the concerned avionics-compartment access door
811 or
812 or
822 or
824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
