A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the access to the cockpit is available.
   (2) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

A. Electro Magnetic Interferences (EMI)
   (1) If an Onboard Mobile-Telephony System (OMTS) is installed and energized, make sure that electromagnetic interference will not have an effect on the operation of the equipment you install. If the part number of the equipment that you will install:
  • Is the same as the part number you removed, continue with the installation procedure
  • Is not the same as the part number you removed, deactivate the OMTS (Ref. AMM D/O 44-34-00-04).

B. Installation of the Keypad:
   (1) If necessary, open the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH.
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (5) Put the keypad (1) in position on the mounting bracket.
   (6) Install the screws (3) to attach the keypad (1).
   (7) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (8) Connect the electrical connector (2) to the keypad (1).
   (9) Close the FAP.

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Do the operational test of the emergency access to make sure that the keypad operates correctly (Ref. AMM TASK 52-51-00-710-003).

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
