A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the access to the cockpit is available.
(2) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

Subtask 52-51-12-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Electrical Release Strikes
(1) Remove the screws (6) and the cover profile (7) from the lavatory wall (8).
(2) Remove the screws (4) and the cover plate (5) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors.
(b) Make sure that the fuselage wire harness (2) and the strike harness (3) are safetied and identified for an easier installation.
(4) Disassemble the spring sheets (11) and remove the release strike housing (12) with the shim plates (9) and/or (10) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(6) Remove the release strike (14) from the release strike housing (12). At the same time, make sure that the strike harness (3) goes through the grommet (13) easily.
Subtask 52-51-12-020-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the screws (6) and the cover profile (7) from the lavatory wall (8).
(2) Remove the screws (4) and the cover plate (5) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors.
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Disconnect the electrical connectors of the strike harness (3) from the fuselage wire harness (2) as given in the ESPM 204825 and AWM 525102. (b) Make sure that the fuselage wire harness (2) and the strike harness (3) are safetied and identified for an easier installation.
(4) Disassemble the spring sheets (11) and remove the release strike housing (12) with the shim plates (9) and/or (10) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
NOTE: The quantity of the shim plates (9) and/or (10) results from the position of the cockpit door.
(5) Remove the screws (15) and (16) from the release strike housing (12). (6) Remove the release strike (14) from the release strike housing (12). At the same time, make sure that the strike harness (3) goes through the grommet (13) easily.
A. Removal of the Electrical Release Strikes
(1) Remove the screws (9) and the cover profile (10) from the lavatory wall (13).
(2) Remove the screws (7) and the cover plate (8) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
(b) Make sure that the fuselage wire harness (4) and the strike harness (6) are safetied and identified for easier installation.
(4) Disassemble the spring sheets (17) and remove the release strike housing (3) with the shim plates (14), (15) and/or (16) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(6) Remove the release strike (11) from the release strike housing (3). At the same time make sure that the strike harness (6) goes through the grommet (5) easily.
Subtask 52-51-12-020-050-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the screws (9) and the cover profile (10) from the lavatory wall (13).
(2) Remove the screws (7) and the cover plate (8) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Disconnect the electrical connectors of the strike harness (6) from the fuselage wire harness (4) ESPM 2048250 AWM 525102. (b) Make sure that the fuselage wire harness (4) and the strike harness (6) are safetied and identified for easier installation.
(4) Disassemble the spring sheets (17) and remove the release strike housing (3) with the shim plates (14), (15) and/or (16) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
NOTE: The quantity of the shim plates (14), (15) and/or (16) result from the position of the cockpit door.
(5) Remove the screws (2) and (12) from the release strike housing (3). (6) Remove the release strike (11) from the release strike housing (3). At the same time make sure that the strike harness (6) goes through the grommet (5) easily.
A. Removal of the Electrical Release Strikes
(1) Remove the screws (9) and the cover profile (10) from the lavatory wall (13).
(2) Remove the screws (7) and the cover plate (8) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
(b) Make sure that the fuselage wire harness (4) and the strike harness (6) are safetied and identified for easier installation.
(4) Disassemble the spring sheets (17) and remove the release strike housing (3) with the shim plates (14), (15) and/or (16) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(6) Remove the release strike (11) from the release strike housing (3). At the same time make sure that the strike harness (6) goes through the grommet (5) easily.
(7) Remove the screws (9) and the cover profile (10) from the lavatory wall (13).
(8) Remove the screws (7) and the cover plate (8) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(9) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
(b) Make sure that the fuselage wire harness (4) and the strike harness (6) are safetied and identified for easier installation.
(10) Disassemble the spring sheets (22) and remove the release strike housing (18) with the shim plates (20),and/or (21) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(12) Remove the release strike (19) from the release strike housing (18). At the same time make sure that the strike harness (6) goes through the grommet (5) easily.
(1) Remove the screws (9) and the cover profile (10) from the lavatory wall (13).
(2) Remove the screws (7) and the cover plate (8) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Disconnect the electrical connectors of the strike harness (6) from the fuselage wire harness (4) ESPM 2048250 AWM 525102. (b) Make sure that the fuselage wire harness (4) and the strike harness (6) are safetied and identified for easier installation.
(4) Disassemble the spring sheets (17) and remove the release strike housing (3) with the shim plates (14), (15) and/or (16) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
NOTE: The quantity of the shim plates (14), (15) and/or (16) result from the position of the cockpit door.
(5) Remove the screws (2) and (12) from the release strike housing (3). (6) Remove the release strike (11) from the release strike housing (3). At the same time make sure that the strike harness (6) goes through the grommet (5) easily.
(7) Remove the screws (9) and the cover profile (10) from the lavatory wall (13).
(8) Remove the screws (7) and the cover plate (8) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
(9) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Disconnect the electrical connectors of the strike harness (6) from the fuselage wire harness (4) ESPM 2048250 AWM 525102. (b) Make sure that the fuselage wire harness (4) and the strike harness (6) are safetied and identified for easier installation.
(10) Disassemble the spring sheets (22) and remove the release strike housing (18) with the shim plates (20),and/or (21) from the lavatory wall housing (1).
NOTE: The quantity of the shim plates (20),and/or (21) result from the position of the cockpit door.
(11) Remove the screws (2) and (12) from the release strike housing (18). (12) Remove the release strike (19) from the release strike housing (18). At the same time make sure that the strike harness (6) goes through the grommet (5) easily.
