A. Operational Test of the Emergency Access
   (1) Do this test:
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH:
In the Cockpit:
  • Enter the numerical emergency entry code and press the validate key (2) on the key pad 25MQ (1)
  • The buzzer 23MQ at the cockpit ceiling panel operates.

On the COCKPIT DOOR panel 119VU:
  • The OPEN lamp of the indication light 22MQ flashes.

On the Key Pad (1):
  • The green LED flashes.

At the Cockpit Door:
  • Wait for a specified time (adjustable between 15 sec. and 2 min.) to simulate "no flight crew reaction"
  • The solenoids of the electrical release strikes 30MQ, 31MQ and 32MQ are de-energized
  • The cockpit door is in the UNLOCK condition for 5 sec.

On the COCKPIT DOOR panel 119VU:
NOTE: There are two standards of the control unit 24MQ, P/N AR4709-1 and AR4709-3.
  • With P/N AR4709-1, the OPEN and the FAULT lamps of the indication light 22MQ come on for 5 sec.
  • With P/N AR4709-3, the OPEN lamp of the indication light 22MQ comes on for 5 sec.

On the Key Pad (1):
  • The green LED comes on for 5 sec.

In the cockpit:
  • The buzzer 23MQ at the cockpit ceiling 210RH stops.
2.At the Cockpit Door:
At the Cockpit Door:
  • Open the cockpit door and close it again
  • The cockpit door moves in the open direction and back in its locked position.

A. Operational Test of the Emergency Access
   (1) Do this test:

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
