A. Operational Test of the Remaining Pressure-Rate Sensor
(1) Make sure that the cockpit door is closed and locked.
(2) On the overhead panel, on Cockpit Door Locking Control Unit (CDLCU) 24MQ, make sure that the STRIKE LEDs (TOP, MID and BOT) are off.
(3) Do the operational test to make sure that the remaining pressure sensor of CDLCU 24MQ operates correctly:
(a) Simulate a decompression of the cabin pressure with the DECOMPRESSION TEST SIMULATOR.
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the cockpit door is closed and locked.
NOTE: AIRBUS recommends that you use a manual vacuum pump (de-solder pump) or AR4728-1 (manufacturer ADAMS RITE AEROSPACE) or the equivalent standard.
(4) On the overhead panel, on CDLCU 24MQ:- If LED CHAN 1 is on, do the test on the right pressure sensor hole.
- If LED CHAN 2 is on, do the test on the left pressure sensor hole.
