A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at zone 190.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at zone 190.
Subtask 52-42-28-560-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Make sure that the sealing strip (1) is in good condition.
(3) If it is not, replace it as follows:
(a) Remove the sealing strip (1).
(b) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(c) Install the new AIPC 53-35-13-01-175 SEALING STRIP (1).
Subtask 52-42-28-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Make sure that the sealing strip (1) is in good condition.
(3) If it is not, replace it as follows:
(a) Remove the sealing strip (1).
(b) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(c) Install the new AIPC 53-35-13-01-175 SEALING STRIP (1).
B. Installation of Access Door 191MB
(1) If you removed the hinges (9), install them as follows:
(a) Put the hinges (9) in position on the access door (2).
(b) Install the screws (3), the washers (11) and the nuts (10).
(c) Tighten the nuts (10).
(d) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(e) Install the screw (4), the washer (13) and the nut (12).
(f) Tighten the nut (12).
(g) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Put the access door (2) in position and install the pins (8).
(3) Lock the pins (8) with the clamps (7).
(4) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(5) Install the bonding strap (6), the screw (5), the washer (15) and the nut (14).
(6) Tighten the nut (14).
(7) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(8) Close the access door (2).
Subtask 52-42-28-820-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If you removed the hinges (9), install them as follows:
(a) Put the hinges (9) in position on the access door (2).
(b) Install the screws (3), the washers (11) and the nuts (10).
(c) Tighten the nuts (10).
(d) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(e) Install the screw (4), the washer (13) and the nut (12).
(f) Tighten the nut (12).
(g) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Put the access door (2) in position and install the pins (8).
(3) Lock the pins (8) with the clamps (7).
(4) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(5) Install the bonding strap (6), the screw (5), the washer (15) and the nut (14).
(6) Tighten the nut (14).
(7) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(8) Close the access door (2).
C. Adjustment of Access Door 191MB
(1) Measure clearance J1 between access door 191MB (2) and access panel 191GB (25).
(2) Make sure that clearance J1 is 3 -1 mm or +1 mm (0.12 -0.04 in. or +0.04 in.).
(3) If a minimum of clearance J1 is out of the tolerance, adjust the access door (2) as follows:
(a) Loosen the nuts (10) and (12) and move the hinges (9) as necessary.
(b) Do steps (1) and (2) again.
(c) Tighten the nuts (10) and (12).
(4) Measure skin offsets J2 and J3 between access door 191MB (2) and access panel 191GB (25).
(5) Make sure that skin offset J2 is 0 -1.5 mm or +1.5 mm (0 -0.06 in. or +0.06 in.).
(6) Make sure that skin offset J3 is 0 -1 mm or +1 mm (0 -0.04 in. or +0.04 in.).
(7) If a minimum of skin offsets J2 and J3 is out of the tolerances, adjust the access door (2) as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (10) and (12), the washers (11) and (13), the screws (3) and (4) and the hinges (9).
(b) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(c) If necessary, apply Paste Adhesive-- Liquid shim - (Material No.13FGC1) on the mating surfaces between the hinges (9) and the access door (2).
(d) Install the hinges (9), the screws (3), the washers (11) and the nuts (10).
(e) Install the screw (4), the washer (13) and the nut (12).
(f) Adjust the position of the hinges (9) as necessary.
(g) Do steps (4) thru (6) again.
(h) Tighten the nut (12).
(i) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(j) Tighten the nuts (10).
(8) If you moved one of the hinges (9), do a check of the parallelism of the hinges (9).
(9) Make sure that the parallelism of the hinges (9) has a tolerance of 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.).
(10) If the parallelism is out of the tolerance, do step (7) again.
(11) Close the access door (2).
5. Close-up(1) Measure clearance J1 between access door 191MB (2) and access panel 191GB (25).
(2) Make sure that clearance J1 is 3 -1 mm or +1 mm (0.12 -0.04 in. or +0.04 in.).

(6) Make sure that skin offset J3 is 0 -1 mm or +1 mm (0 -0.04 in. or +0.04 in.).
(7) If a minimum of skin offsets J2 and J3 is out of the tolerances, adjust the access door (2) as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (10) and (12), the washers (11) and (13), the screws (3) and (4) and the hinges (9).
(b) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(c) If necessary, apply Paste Adhesive-- Liquid shim - (Material No.13FGC1) on the mating surfaces between the hinges (9) and the access door (2).
(d) Install the hinges (9), the screws (3), the washers (11) and the nuts (10).
(e) Install the screw (4), the washer (13) and the nut (12).
(f) Adjust the position of the hinges (9) as necessary.
(g) Do steps (4) thru (6) again.
(h) Tighten the nut (12).
(i) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(j) Tighten the nuts (10).
(8) If you moved one of the hinges (9), do a check of the parallelism of the hinges (9).
(9) Make sure that the parallelism of the hinges (9) has a tolerance of 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.).
(10) If the parallelism is out of the tolerance, do step (7) again.
(11) Close the access door (2).
