3. Job Set-up
Subtask 52-42-26-941-050-A

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On panel 400VU:

Make sure that landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position.
Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gears or the landing gear doors.

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 190.
(2) For access door 195BB:

Install the 98D29207542000 DEVICE-SAFETY, RAT (Ref. AMM D/O 29-22-00-86).

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-42-26-020-050-A

A. Removal of Access Doors 195BB and 196BB

NOTE: This removal procedure is given for one access door. The procedure for the other access door is the same.

(1) Open the access door (3).
(2) Remove the nut (15), the screw (13) and the bonding strap (14).
(3) Remove the screw (1) and disconnect the lanyard (2) from the access door (3).
(4) Remove the clamps (9) from the pins (11).
(5) Hold the access door (3) and remove the pins (11) from the brackets (10) and the hinges (6).
(6) Remove the access door (3).
(7) If necessary, remove the hinges (6) as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (8), the screws (5) and (12) and the washers (4) and (7) from the hinges (6).
(b) Remove the hinges (6).
