3. Job Set-up
Subtask 52-42-23-941-050-A
A. Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position below the ground service panel door of the Yellow hydraulic system.
4. Procedure
Subtask 52-42-23-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Ground Service Panel Door of the Yellow Hydraulic System
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Put the access door (1) in the installation position.
   (4) Install the screws (2), the washers (5) and the nuts (6).
   (5) Install the bonding strap (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
   (6) If it was necessary to remove the spring bolt assembly, install it as follows:
     (a) Make sure that all parts of the removed spring bolt assembly are clean and in the correct condition.
     (b) Make sure that the bearing flange assy (18) and the hinge (3) are clean and in the correct condition.
     (c) Install the spring bolt (12) with the pin (19) and the retaining ring (8) at the hinge (3).
     (d) Put the compression spring (14) and the guide (16) in position on the spring bolt (12).
     (e) Install the guide (16) with the washers (15), the pin (17) and the retaining ring (13) at the bearing flange assy (18).
   (7) If it was necessary to remove the hinges (3) and (4), install them as follows:
     (a) Make sure that the support fitting assemblies (11) are clean and in the correct condition.
     (b) Install the hinges (3) and (4) with the pins (10) and the retaining rings (9) at the support fitting assemblies (11).
     (c) Connect the spring bolt assembly with the pin (19) and the retaining ring (8).
Subtask 52-42-23-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Ground Service Panel Door of the Yellow Hydraulic System
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) If removed, assemble the hinges (3) on the ground service panel and attach it with the screws (5) and the washers (4).
   (4) Put the access door (2) on the hinges (3) and attach it with the the bolts (9), the washers (10) and the nuts (11).
   (5) Put the bonding strap (6) on the upper hinge (3) and attach it with the bolt (1), the washer (7) and the nut (8) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
Subtask 52-42-23-820-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Adjustment of the Ground Service Panel Door of the Yellow Hydraulic System
   (1) Carefully close and lock the access door (1).
   (2) Make sure that the values of the permitted contour offset and the clearance between the access door (1) and the panel 198BB are in the limits.
   (3) If it is necessary to adjust the access door (1):
     (a) Remove the access panel 198BB as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002).
     (b) Loosen the screws (31).
     (c) Adjust the latch hook (30) until you get the correct values.
     (d) Tighten the screws (31).
   (4) Make sure that it is possible to open and close the access door (1) correctly.
   (5) Make sure that the latch assembly is correctly locked and that the access door (1) makes a continues surface with the skin of the aircraft.
Subtask 52-42-23-820-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Adjustment of the Ground Service Panel Door of the Yellow Hydraulic System
   (1) Carefully close and lock the access door (1).
   (2) Make sure that the values of the permitted contour offset and the clearance between the access door (1) and the panel 198KB are in the limits.
   (3) If it is necessary to adjust the access door (1):
     (a) Remove the access panel 198KB as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002).
     (b) Loosen the screws (31).
     (c) Adjust the latch hook (30) until you get the correct values.
     (d) Tighten the screws (31).
   (4) Make sure that it is possible to open and close the access door (1) correctly.
   (5) Make sure that the latch assembly is correctly locked and that the access door (1) makes a continues surface with the skin of the aircraft.
5. Close-up
Subtask 52-42-23-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) If removed, install the access panel 198BB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 52-42-23-410-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) If removed, install the access panel 198KB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
