A. Open the applicable access panels 134AR and/or 154AR.

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Access Panel (14)
(1) Disconnect the rod spring assembly (15) from the hinge (10) as follows:
(a) Remove the retaining ring (8) from the pin (7).
(b) Remove the pin (7) from the hinge (10).
(c) Remove the eye-end of the guide (6) from the fork-end of the hinge (10).
(2) Remove the access panel (14) as follows:
(a) Remove the retaining rings (9) from the pins (12).
(b) Hold the access panel (14) and remove the pins (12) from the support fittings (11).
(c) Remove the access panel (14).
(3) Remove the spring rod assembly (15) from the stop fitting (1) as follows:
(a) Remove the retaining ring (3) from the pin (2).
(b) Hold the spring rod assembly (15) and remove the pin (2) from the stop fitting (1).
(c) If necessary, remove the guide (4) and the compression spring (5) from the spring bolt (6).
