A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the access platform is in position at zone 171.
(2) Make sure that the service door 171AL is open.

B. Cleaning
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Service Door
(1) Put service door 171AL (1) in position.
(2) Install the springs (2) and the shims (3).
(3) Install the bonding leads (5) and the screws (6).
(4) Install the screws (7).
(5) Tighten the screws (6) and (7).
(6) Install the other end of the bonding leads (5) with the screws (9), washers (8) and nuts (4).
(7) Tighten the nuts (4).
(8) Do an electrical bonding when you install the bonding leads (5), the screws (6) and (9), the washers (8) and the nuts (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

A. Visual Inspection
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. Close Access
(1) Close the service door 171AL.

C. Remove Ground Equipment
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
