(2) Disconnect connector [20QUA] (1) from microswitch [20QU] (2).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Attach the disconnected connectors with TIE WRAP to the adjacent structure.
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Clean the belly fairing structure around the cutout with Non Aqueous Cleaner-Non structural use - - (Material No.08BPA1) . Make sure that you clean from the cutout edge to dimension X 25 mm (0.98 in.), for the correct application of the high-speed tape.
(7) Use the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and make sure that you fully dry the belly fairing structure around the cutout to dimension X 25 mm (0.98 in.).
(8) Apply three layers of Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) on the cutout as follows:
(a) Apply the first layer longitudinally on the cutout. Apply the second and third layers diagonally so that the layers are on top of each other.
(b) All the layers must have an overlap of dimension Y (50% of the width of the tape in use) or 12 mm (0.47 in.) minimum (if the tape has insufficient width).
(9) Do an inspection of the high-speed tape at each three days:
(a) If you find damage, refer to steps (6) thru (8) to replace the high-speed tape.
5. Close-upNOTE: Before you start the deactivation make sure that the aircraft is refueled for the next flight.
(1) Remove the remaining components of fuel panel access-door 192MB (Ref. AMM TASK 52-42-18-000-001). (2) Disconnect connector [20QUA] (1) from microswitch [20QU] (2).
