B. Check and Adjustment of the Out-of-flush Dimension Between the Door (11) and the Fuselage
   (1) Close the door (11) and measure the clearance J2 between the door stops and the stop fittings.
   (2) Make sure that J2 is 0.2 mm (0.0079 in.) minimum.
   (3) Measure the out-of-flush dimension J1 between the door (11) and the fuselage at points P1 and P2.
   (4) Calculate the final out-of-flush dimension J at points P1 and P2 as follows:
J= J1+J2
   (5) Make sure that the out-of-flush dimension J is 0 -0.8 mm or +0.8 mm (0.0000 -0.0315 in. or +0.0315 in.).
   (6) If the out-of-flush dimension J is not in the tolerances:
     (a) Open the door (11) and adjust the door stop.
  • Remove the two self-locking nuts (12), the two screws (13) and the washers (14).
  • Put a new set of washers (14) and install the two screws (13) and the two self-locking nuts (12).
  • Close the door (11) and make sure that the clearance J2 is 0.2 mm (0.0079 in.) minimum.
  • TORQUE the two self-locking nuts (12) to between 0.45 and 0.35 m.daN (39.82 and 30.97 lbf.in ) T.
Subtask 52-41-14-220-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Check of the Peripheral Clearance
   (1) Make sure that the peripheral clearance J4 between the door (11) and the fuselage is 2 +1 mm or -1 mm (0.0787 +0.0394 in. or -0.0394 in.).
Subtask 52-41-14-220-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
D. Check and Adjustment of the Out-of-flush Dimension between the Door and the Fuselage
   (1) Close the door (11) and measure clearance J2 between the door stops and the stop fittings.
   (2) Make sure that clearance J2 is a minimum of 0.2 mm (0.01 in.).
   (3) Measure the out-of-flush dimension J1 between the door (11) and the fuselage at points P1 and P2.
   (4) Calculate the final out-of-flush dimension J at points P1 and P2 as follows:
J= J1+J2
   (5) Make sure that the out-of-flush dimension J is 0 -0.8 mm or +0.8 mm (0.00 -0.03 in. or +0.03 in.).
NOTE: A maximum clearance of 0 -1.2 mm or +1.2 mm (0.00 -0.05 in. or +0.05 in.) is permitted for the out-of-flush dimension J at points P1 and P2 if the peripheral clearance J3, at points P1 and P2, is not in the maximum clearance. You must refer to Para. 4.C for the peripheral clearance J3.
   (6) If the out-of-flush dimension J is not in the tolerances:
     (a) Open the door (11) and adjust the door stop.
  • Remove the two self-locking nuts (12), the two screws (13) and the washers (14).
