A. Get Access
(1) Open the FWD and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s) (referred to as the cargo door(s)) and install the support struts (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the opened cargo door.
Subtask 52-36-18-865-053-A (1) Open the FWD and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s) (referred to as the cargo door(s)) and install the support struts (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the opened cargo door.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Disconnect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(5) Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
4. Procedure(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Disconnect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(5) Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.

A. Removal of the Proximity Switch
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the proximity switch (2) from the switch housing (5).
(5) Remove and discard the packing (4) and the back-up ring (3) from the proximity switch (2).
Subtask 52-36-18-020-054-A NOTE: This procedure is applicable for the proximity switch (2) installed on the door actuator (6) PN S4-3300520 and PN S4-3300520-01.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the proximity switch (2). (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(3) Cut, remove and discard the lockwire from the proximity switch (2). (4) Remove the proximity switch (2) from the switch housing (5).
(5) Remove and discard the packing (4) and the back-up ring (3) from the proximity switch (2).
B. Removal of the Proximity Switch
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Use the E20000Z3-1 SENSOR KEY TOOL to remove the proximity switch (4) from the switch housing (2).
(5) Remove and discard the ring seal (3) from the proximity switch (4).
NOTE: This procedure is applicable for the proximity switch (4) installed on the door actuator (1) PN E20000.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the proximity switch (4). (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(3) Cut, remove and discard the lockwire from the proximity switch (4). (4) Use the E20000Z3-1 SENSOR KEY TOOL to remove the proximity switch (4) from the switch housing (2).
(5) Remove and discard the ring seal (3) from the proximity switch (4).
