B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the applicable cargo door is opened and safetied with the actuator safety devices (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(2) Make sure that the necessary floor panel you removed to get access to the applicable manual selector valve is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-14-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001).
(3) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(4) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(6) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position:

(6) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position:
- in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
- on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(8) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the power transfer unit is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

(4) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.

(5) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(6) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position:

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Aply a layer of Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the mating surface of the proximity switch (12) and the valve body (13).
(5) Lubricate the new AIPC 52-36-15-01-080 O-RING (24) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
Subtask 52-36-15-420-052-B (1) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Proximity Switch
(1) Install the new O-ring (24) and the back-up ring (23) in the valve body (13).
(2) Install the proximity switch (12) on the valve body (13).
(3) TORQUE the proximity switch (12) to between 0.22 and 0.18 m.daN (19.47 and 15.93 lbf.in )

(4) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (11) and from the receptacle of the proximity switch (12).
(5) Connect the electrical connector (11) to the proximity switch (12).
(6) Safety the proximity switch (12) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel, dia. 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
Subtask 52-36-15-860-055-A (1) Install the new O-ring (24) and the back-up ring (23) in the valve body (13).
(2) Install the proximity switch (12) on the valve body (13).
(3) TORQUE the proximity switch (12) to between 0.22 and 0.18 m.daN (19.47 and 15.93 lbf.in )

C. Preparation for the Test
(1) Remove the warning notices from the ground service panel and the overhead panel of the cockpit.
(2) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(3) Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(4) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(5) Remove the actuator safety locks from the applicable cargo door.
Subtask 52-36-15-865-058-A (1) Remove the warning notices from the ground service panel and the overhead panel of the cockpit.
(2) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(3) Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(4) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(5) Remove the actuator safety locks from the applicable cargo door.
D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Operational Test
(1) Open and close the applicable cargo door hydraulically (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) several times to make sure that the proximity switch operates satisfactory.
(2) Open the cargo door when the operational test is completed.
(3) Examine the manual selector valve (15) to make sure that there are no leaks .
5. Close-up(1) Open and close the applicable cargo door hydraulically (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) several times to make sure that the proximity switch operates satisfactory.

(b) Close the FWD cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

(a) Install the floor panel you removed to get access to the manual selector valve (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-400-001).
(b) Close the AFT cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
