A. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position to the RH aft belly fairing area.
   (2) Open the access door 198CB of the Yellow ground service panel.
   (3) Make sure that the FWD and AFT Cargo Compartment Doors (referred to as cargo door) are closed.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
   (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
   (2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
   (3) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (4) Disconnect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
   (5) Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
  • In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
  • On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
   (6) Put the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT below the electro-manual selector valve 2500MJ to collect the hydraulic fluid.
4. Procedure
Subtask 52-36-12-020-050-A
A. Removal of the Electro-Manual Selector Valve
   (1) Remove the bolts (9) and (10) and the washers (8) and (11).
   (2) Remove the bonding strap (12) from the selector valve (7).
   (3) Remove the selector valve (7) from the valve panel (1).
   (4) Remove the bobbins (4) and (17) from the valve panel (1) or the selector valve (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
   (5) Install PLUG - BLANKING in the open ports.
   (6) Remove and discard the O-ring (14) from the electrical connector (13).
   (7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
