Subtask 52-35-00-010-051-A
A. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the cargo compartment door (referred to as cargo door).
   (2) Remove the access panel 825AR or 826AR as necessary.
4. Procedure

A. Preparation for the Test
   (1) Prepare the 355M03210000 CHECKING TOOL-DOORS or G55M03210000 CHECKING TOOL - DOORS (referred to as checking tool) as follows:
     (a) Set the toggle switch in the PROXIMITY DETECTOR ADJUSTMENT section to the ON position.
     (b) Push the LIGHT TEST pushbutton and make sure that all lamps are on.
     (c) Set the toggle switch to the OFF position.
   (2) Disconnect the electrical connector from the receptacle of the proximity switch 5MJ or 12MJ.
   (3) Install the test cable between the receptacles of the proximity switch 5MJ or 12MJ and the checking tool for "PROXIMITY DETECTOR ADJUSTMENT".

1.On the checking tool:
On the checking tool:
  • set the toggle switch in the PROXIMITY DETECTOR ADJUSTMENT section to the ON position.
  • the SENSOR NC lamp must not come on,
  • the TARGET FAR lamp comes on.
2.At the cargo door:
On the checking tool:
  • push the handle flap in and pull the locking handle out of its recess.
  • the TARGET FAR lamp stays on.
3.At the cargo door:
On the checking tool:
  • turn the locking handle to the unlocked position.
  • the TARGET FAR lamp goes off,
  • the TARGET NEAR lamp comes on.
4.At the cargo door:
On the checking tool:
  • the TARGET NEAR lamp goes off,
  • the TARGET FAR lamp comes on.
5.On the checking tool:
On the checking tool:
  • set the toggle switch to the OFF position.
  • all lamps go off.
5. Close-up
Subtask 52-35-00-860-055-A
A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Disconnect and remove the test cable from the proximity switch 5MJ or 12MJ.
   (2) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Connect the electrical connector to the proximity switch 5MJ or 12MJ.

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the cargo door is correctly closed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (2) Install the access panel 825AR or 826AR.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
