Subtask 52-33-21-020-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(1) Remove the screws (111), the washers (110) and the attachment sheet (114) from the door frame (109).
(2) Remove the nuts (116), the washers (115), the bolts (113) and the flange bearing (112) from the attachment sheet (114).
(3) Remove the detention rod (107) as follows:
14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - (121) to keep it in the compressed condition.
(b) Remove and discard the cotter pin (120).
(c) Remove the nut (119), the bolt (117) and the washers (118).
(d) Remove and discard the cotter pin (101).
(e) Remove the nut (102), the bolt (105) and the washers (103).
(f) Remove the detention rod (107) and the bushes (106) and (108) from the structure fitting (104).
(4) Remove the rod (125) as follows:
(a) Make sure that the locking shaft is in the locked position.
(b) Remove and discard the cotter pin (127).
(c) Remove the nut (126), the bolt (123) and the washers (124).
(d) Remove the rod (125) from the main lever (122).
(5) Remove the external door handle (133) from the handle housing (131) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire from the screws (130).
(b) Remove the screws (130) and the stop fitting assembly (129).
(c) Push the button of the external door handle (133) and release it carefully from the recess of the handle housing (131).
(e) Remove the lever assembly (128) and the quadrant ring (134).
(f) If the wear strip (136) is damaged, remove it as follows:
1 Remove the nuts (137) and the screws (135).
2 Remove the wear strip (136) from the external door handle (133).

Removal of the Door Locking Mechanism
CAUTION:
IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOU OPEN THE CARGO COMPARTMENT DOOR, RECORD ON THE WORK CARD ON THE DOOR, THE DATE AND TIME WHEN YOU OPENED IT. IF THE CARGO COMPARTMENT DOOR STAYS OPEN FOR 12 HOURS OR MORE, YOU MUST BLEED THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM RELATED TO IT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS, THE DOOR CAN CLOSE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SET THE DOOR TO "CLOSE". THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE DOOR AND TO THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE.

Subtask 52-33-21-010-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) to get access to the inner side of the bulk cargo-compartment door.
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the aft cargo-compartment door.
(3) Remove the lining from the bulk cargo-compartment door and the insulation packs from the work area (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-000-001).
(4) If necessary, open the bulk cargo-compartment door sufficiently to get access to the applicable components (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
(5) Safety the not fully opened bulk cargo-compartment door with an applicable DEVICE - HOLD OPEN, DOOR.
(6) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in front of the bulk cargo-compartment door.
4. Procedure(1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) to get access to the inner side of the bulk cargo-compartment door.
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the aft cargo-compartment door.
(3) Remove the lining from the bulk cargo-compartment door and the insulation packs from the work area (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-000-001).
(4) If necessary, open the bulk cargo-compartment door sufficiently to get access to the applicable components (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
(5) Safety the not fully opened bulk cargo-compartment door with an applicable DEVICE - HOLD OPEN, DOOR.
(6) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in front of the bulk cargo-compartment door.

A. Removal of the Door Handle Mechanism
(a) Remove the washers (110), the screws (113) and the attachment sheet (114) from the door frame (109).
(b) Remove the nuts (116), the washers (115) and the bolts (113) from the attachment sheet (114).
(c) Remove the flange bearing (112) from the attachment sheet (114).
(2) Remove the detention rod (107) and/or the push rod (125) as follows:

(b) Remove and discard the cotter pins (101) and (120) from the nuts (102) and (119).
(c) Remove the nut (119), the washers (118) and the bolt (117) to disconnect the detention rod (107) from the lever assembly (128).
(d) Remove the nut (102), the washers (103) and the bolt (105).
(e) Remove the detention rod (107) and the bushes (108) and (106) from the structure fitting (104).
(f) Disconnect the push rod (125) from the main lever (122) as follows:
2 Remove the nut (126), the washers (124) and the bolt (123) from the push rod (125).
3 Remove the push rod (125) from the main lever (122).
(g) Remove the push rod (125) from the lever assembly (128).
(3) Remove the external door handle (133) from the handle housing (131) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire and remove the screws (130).
(b) Remove the stop fitting assembly (129) from the lever assembly (128).
(c) Push the button of the external door handle (133) to release it carefully from the recess of the handle housing (131).
(e) Disassemble the lever assembly (128) and the quadrantal-ring (134) from the handle housing (131).
Subtask 52-33-21-020-050-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(1) Remove the attachment sheet (114) and the related flange bearing (112) as follows: (a) Remove the washers (110), the screws (113) and the attachment sheet (114) from the door frame (109).
(b) Remove the nuts (116), the washers (115) and the bolts (113) from the attachment sheet (114).
(c) Remove the flange bearing (112) from the attachment sheet (114).
(2) Remove the detention rod (107) and/or the push rod (125) as follows:
NOTE: The detention rod (107) is under spring-loaded pressure.
(a) Safety the two eye-ends of the detention rod (107) with lockwire (121) ( (b) Remove and discard the cotter pins (101) and (120) from the nuts (102) and (119).
(c) Remove the nut (119), the washers (118) and the bolt (117) to disconnect the detention rod (107) from the lever assembly (128).
(d) Remove the nut (102), the washers (103) and the bolt (105).
(e) Remove the detention rod (107) and the bushes (108) and (106) from the structure fitting (104).
(f) Disconnect the push rod (125) from the main lever (122) as follows:
NOTE: For easier removal, make sure that the locking shaft is in the locked position.
1 Remove and discard the cotter pin (127) from the nut (126). 2 Remove the nut (126), the washers (124) and the bolt (123) from the push rod (125).
3 Remove the push rod (125) from the main lever (122).
(g) Remove the push rod (125) from the lever assembly (128).
(3) Remove the external door handle (133) from the handle housing (131) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire and remove the screws (130).
(b) Remove the stop fitting assembly (129) from the lever assembly (128).
(c) Push the button of the external door handle (133) to release it carefully from the recess of the handle housing (131).
NOTE: There is a load on the external door handle (131) from the spring (132).
(d) Remove the external door handle (133) and the spring (132) from the handle housing (131). (e) Disassemble the lever assembly (128) and the quadrantal-ring (134) from the handle housing (131).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.

A. Removal of the Door Handle Mechanism(1) Remove the screws (111), the washers (110) and the attachment sheet (114) from the door frame (109).
(2) Remove the nuts (116), the washers (115), the bolts (113) and the flange bearing (112) from the attachment sheet (114).
(3) Remove the detention rod (107) as follows:
NOTE: The detention rod (107) has spring-loaded pressure.
(a) Safety the two eye-ends of the detention rod (107) with the (b) Remove and discard the cotter pin (120).
(c) Remove the nut (119), the bolt (117) and the washers (118).
(d) Remove and discard the cotter pin (101).
(e) Remove the nut (102), the bolt (105) and the washers (103).
(f) Remove the detention rod (107) and the bushes (106) and (108) from the structure fitting (104).
(4) Remove the rod (125) as follows:
(a) Make sure that the locking shaft is in the locked position.
(b) Remove and discard the cotter pin (127).
(c) Remove the nut (126), the bolt (123) and the washers (124).
(d) Remove the rod (125) from the main lever (122).
(5) Remove the external door handle (133) from the handle housing (131) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire from the screws (130).
(b) Remove the screws (130) and the stop fitting assembly (129).
(c) Push the button of the external door handle (133) and release it carefully from the recess of the handle housing (131).
NOTE: There is pressure on the external door handle (133) from the spring (132).
(d) Remove the external door handle (133) and the spring (132).(e) Remove the lever assembly (128) and the quadrant ring (134).
(f) If the wear strip (136) is damaged, remove it as follows:
1 Remove the nuts (137) and the screws (135).
2 Remove the wear strip (136) from the external door handle (133).
B. Removal of the Locking Shaft
(a) Remove the nuts (145), the washers (146) and the bolts (148) together with the washers (147) to disconnect the barrel lock (141) from the tooth shaft (149).
(b) Pull the barrel lock (141) together with the spacers (142),(143) and (144) away from the tooth shaft (149).
(c) If necessary, remove the nuts (153), the bolts (155) and the outer flange bearing (154) from the bulk door structure.
(d) Remove the nuts (156), the washers (157) and the bolts (158) to disconnect the flange (164) from the joint assembly (163).
(e) Remove the flange (164) from the threaded ends of the tooth shaft (149).
(f) Pull the tooth shaft (149) from the joint assembly (163) and remove it from the bulk door structure.
(2) Remove the joint assembly (163) from the locking shaft as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (152) and the bolts (150) to disconnect the flange bearing (151) from the Bulk cargo door.
(b) Disconnect the push rod (125) from the main lever (122) as follows:
2 Remove the nut (126), the washers (124) and the bolt (123) from the push rod (125).
3 Remove the push rod (125) from the main lever (122).
(c) Disconnect the spring element (192) from the lever (190) as follows:
1 Remove and discard the cotter pin (189) from the nut (188).
2 Remove the nut (188), the washers (185) and the bolt (184) from the lever (190).
3 Remove the spring element (192) from the lever (190).
(d) Move the locking shaft (183) laterally until the end of the joint assembly (163) comes free from the bulk door structure.
(e) Remove the flange (164) and the flange bearing (151) from the joint assembly (163).
(f) Remove the nuts (162), the washers (160) and the bolts (161) to remove the locking washer (159) from the joint assembly (163).
(g) Pull the joint assembly (163) from the locking shaft (183) and remove it from the structure of the Bulk cargo door.
(3) Disassemble the main lever (122) from the locking shaft (183) as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (176), the washers (175) and the bolt (174) from the main lever (122).
(b) Move the main lever (122) from the tooth of the locking shaft (183).
(4) Disassemble the lever (190) from the locking shaft as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (191), the washers (187) and the bolt (186) from the lever (190).
(b) Remove the lever (190) from the tooth of the locking shaft (183).
(5) Disassemble the limit stop (173) from the locking shaft (183) as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (182), the washers (172) and the bolt (171) from the limit stop (173).
(b) Remove the limit stop (173) from the tooth of the locking shaft (183).
(6) Move the locking shaft (183) through the flange bearings (179) and (196) and remove it from the structure of the Bulk cargo door.
(7) Remove the flange bearings (179) and (196) from the Bulk cargo door as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (177) and (197), the washers (178) and (194) and the bolts (181)and (193) from the flange bearings (179) and (196).
(b) Carefully disconnect the flange bearings (179) and (196) from the door frame (180) and (195).
Subtask 52-33-21-020-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: Make a mark on all parts to identify their correct positions.
(1) Remove the barrel locks (141) from the locking shaft as follows: (a) Remove the nuts (145), the washers (146) and the bolts (148) together with the washers (147) to disconnect the barrel lock (141) from the tooth shaft (149).
(b) Pull the barrel lock (141) together with the spacers (142),(143) and (144) away from the tooth shaft (149).
(c) If necessary, remove the nuts (153), the bolts (155) and the outer flange bearing (154) from the bulk door structure.
(d) Remove the nuts (156), the washers (157) and the bolts (158) to disconnect the flange (164) from the joint assembly (163).
(e) Remove the flange (164) from the threaded ends of the tooth shaft (149).
(f) Pull the tooth shaft (149) from the joint assembly (163) and remove it from the bulk door structure.
(2) Remove the joint assembly (163) from the locking shaft as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (152) and the bolts (150) to disconnect the flange bearing (151) from the Bulk cargo door.
(b) Disconnect the push rod (125) from the main lever (122) as follows:
NOTE: For easier removal, make sure that the locking shaft is in the locked position.
1 Remove and discard the cotter pin (127) from the nut (126). 2 Remove the nut (126), the washers (124) and the bolt (123) from the push rod (125).
3 Remove the push rod (125) from the main lever (122).
(c) Disconnect the spring element (192) from the lever (190) as follows:
1 Remove and discard the cotter pin (189) from the nut (188).
2 Remove the nut (188), the washers (185) and the bolt (184) from the lever (190).
3 Remove the spring element (192) from the lever (190).
(d) Move the locking shaft (183) laterally until the end of the joint assembly (163) comes free from the bulk door structure.
(e) Remove the flange (164) and the flange bearing (151) from the joint assembly (163).
(f) Remove the nuts (162), the washers (160) and the bolts (161) to remove the locking washer (159) from the joint assembly (163).
(g) Pull the joint assembly (163) from the locking shaft (183) and remove it from the structure of the Bulk cargo door.
(3) Disassemble the main lever (122) from the locking shaft (183) as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (176), the washers (175) and the bolt (174) from the main lever (122).
(b) Move the main lever (122) from the tooth of the locking shaft (183).
(4) Disassemble the lever (190) from the locking shaft as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (191), the washers (187) and the bolt (186) from the lever (190).
(b) Remove the lever (190) from the tooth of the locking shaft (183).
(5) Disassemble the limit stop (173) from the locking shaft (183) as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (182), the washers (172) and the bolt (171) from the limit stop (173).
(b) Remove the limit stop (173) from the tooth of the locking shaft (183).
(6) Move the locking shaft (183) through the flange bearings (179) and (196) and remove it from the structure of the Bulk cargo door.
(7) Remove the flange bearings (179) and (196) from the Bulk cargo door as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (177) and (197), the washers (178) and (194) and the bolts (181)and (193) from the flange bearings (179) and (196).
(b) Carefully disconnect the flange bearings (179) and (196) from the door frame (180) and (195).
C. Removal of the Latch Assembly
(1) Remove the hook arrester (224) from the crossbeam of FR61 as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (226) and the bolt (225) and disconnect the hook arrester (224) from the crossbeam (220).
(b) If necessary, remove the nut (223), the bolt (221) and the roller (222) from the hook arrester (224).
(2) Remove the locking hook (209) from the spring element (192) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (216) from the nut (215).
(b) Remove the nut (215), the washers (212) and the bolt (211) from the locking hook (209).
(c) Disconnect the locking hook (209) from the spring element (192).
(d) if necessary, remove the bushes (213) and (214) from the fork-end of the locking hook (209).
(3) Remove the locking hook (209) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (204) from the nut (205).
(b) Remove the nut (205) from the hook axle (208).
(c) Remove the nuts (201), the washers (202) and the bolts (203) from the hook bracket (206).
(d) Disconnect the hook bracket (206) from the door fitting (207).
(e) Remove the hook axle (208) together with the locking hook (209) from the door fitting (210).
(f) Disassemble the hook axle (208) from the locking hook (209).
(4) Remove the spring element (192) from the lever (190) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (189) from the nut (188).
(b) Remove the nut (188), the washers (185) and the bolt (184) from the lever (190).
(c) Disconnect the spring element (192) from the lever (190).
(1) Remove the hook arrester (224) from the crossbeam of FR61 as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (226) and the bolt (225) and disconnect the hook arrester (224) from the crossbeam (220).
(b) If necessary, remove the nut (223), the bolt (221) and the roller (222) from the hook arrester (224).
(2) Remove the locking hook (209) from the spring element (192) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (216) from the nut (215).
(b) Remove the nut (215), the washers (212) and the bolt (211) from the locking hook (209).
(c) Disconnect the locking hook (209) from the spring element (192).
(d) if necessary, remove the bushes (213) and (214) from the fork-end of the locking hook (209).
(3) Remove the locking hook (209) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (204) from the nut (205).
(b) Remove the nut (205) from the hook axle (208).
(c) Remove the nuts (201), the washers (202) and the bolts (203) from the hook bracket (206).
(d) Disconnect the hook bracket (206) from the door fitting (207).
(e) Remove the hook axle (208) together with the locking hook (209) from the door fitting (210).
(f) Disassemble the hook axle (208) from the locking hook (209).
(4) Remove the spring element (192) from the lever (190) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (189) from the nut (188).
(b) Remove the nut (188), the washers (185) and the bolt (184) from the lever (190).
(c) Disconnect the spring element (192) from the lever (190).
