3. Job Set-up
Subtask 52-33-18-210-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Make sure that there is no corrosion in the retaining profile (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-11-200-001).
   (2) Make sure that the seal contact area in the retaining profile (2) is clean and in the correct condition.
4. Procedure
Subtask 52-33-18-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Door Seal
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Install the door seal (1) in the retaining profile (2).
CAUTION: TO INSTALL THE SEAL WITH EQUAL PRETENSION AND PREVENT WRINKLES, INSTALL THE FOUR PREFORMED CORNERS MARKED ON THE SEAL, THEN THE STRAIGHT PARTS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, AIR LEAKS CAN OCCUR.
   (4) Make sure that the inflation holes of the door seal (1) are in their correct position:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE DOOR SEAL IS INSTALLED IN THE CORRECT POSITION. IF IT IS NOT INSTALLED IN THE CORRECT POSITION, IT WILL NOT INFLATE CORRECTLY DURING FLIGHT.
     (a) Make sure that the inflation holes of the door seal (1) are in their correct position on the inner side of the cargo door.
   (5) Lubricate the door seal (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-22-52-640-018).
NOTE: For lubrication of the door seal (1), refer to the latest revision of EASA AD 2021-0049.
   (6) Make sure that the lip of the door seal (1) is put into the retaining profile (2) correctly.
Subtask 52-33-18-420-050-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Door Seal
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Install the door seal (1) in the retaining profile (2).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE DOOR SEAL IS INSTALLED IN THE CORRECT POSITION. IF IT IS NOT INSTALLED IN THE CORRECT POSITION, IT WILL NOT INFLATE CORRECTLY DURING FLIGHT.
     (a) Make sure that the inflation holes of the door seal (1) are in their correct position on the inner side of the cargo door.
   (5) Make sure that the lip of the door seal (1) is put into the retaining profile (2) correctly.
Subtask 52-33-18-210-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Visual Inspection
   (1) Close the Bulk cargo door from the inner side to examine the door seal (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
   (2) Make sure that the door seal is compressed around its length.
   (3) Open the Bulk cargo door again (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
5. Close-up
Subtask 52-33-18-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Install the door net in the opening of the Bulk cargo compartment.
   (2) Close the Bulk cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
