Subtask 52-33-13-010-054-A
A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the aft cargo-compartment door.
(2) Open the aft cargo-compartment door to get access to the inner side of the closed bulk cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the divider net at FR59 to get access to the bulk cargo compartment.
(4) Remove the door net from the opening of the closed bulk cargo door to get access to the linings.
(5) Remove the applicable bulk cargo-door lining (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the aft cargo-compartment door.
(2) Open the aft cargo-compartment door to get access to the inner side of the closed bulk cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the divider net at FR59 to get access to the bulk cargo compartment.
(4) Remove the door net from the opening of the closed bulk cargo door to get access to the linings.
(5) Remove the applicable bulk cargo-door lining (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-000-001).
Subtask 52-33-13-210-053-A
A. Identification of the Damage Limits
(1) Measure the damaged area:
(a) Length L of the damage is 250 mm (9.84 in.) maximum.
(b) Length W of the damage is 10 mm (0.39 in.) maximum.
(3) Make sure that you selected the correct repair procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-300-801).
Subtask 52-33-13-340-052-A (1) Measure the damaged area:
- L = the length of the damage along the edge
- W = the width of the damage.
(a) Length L of the damage is 250 mm (9.84 in.) maximum.
(b) Length W of the damage is 10 mm (0.39 in.) maximum.
(3) Make sure that you selected the correct repair procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-300-801).
B. Repair of the Damaged Edge of the Bulk Cargo-Door Lining
(1) Do the steps that follow to repair the damaged edge of the bulk cargo-door lining:
(a) Carefully cut or grind the damaged edge of the bulk cargo-door lining.
(b) Make sure that:
1 The cutout around the damaged edge is smooth.
2 The distance between the smooth edge and the fixation holes is 20 mm (0.79 in.) minimum.
(c) Clean the repaired area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(d) Let the area dry for a minimum of 15 minutes.
(e) Apply a layer of Laminating resin-Epoxy Fire compliant - (Material No.13EBK1) on the contour of the smooth edge.
(f) Make sure that all the glass fibers are closed with resin.
(h) Use the CLOTH - ABRASIVE (GRADE 120-180) to make repaired area smooth.
(i) Apply a thin layer of Pore Filler Polyurethane-- - Furnishing (Material No.04BAM6) and Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative Furnishing (Material No.04JMD9) on the repaired area.
5. Close-up(1) Do the steps that follow to repair the damaged edge of the bulk cargo-door lining:
(a) Carefully cut or grind the damaged edge of the bulk cargo-door lining.
(b) Make sure that:
1 The cutout around the damaged edge is smooth.
2 The distance between the smooth edge and the fixation holes is 20 mm (0.79 in.) minimum.
(c) Clean the repaired area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(d) Let the area dry for a minimum of 15 minutes.
(e) Apply a layer of Laminating resin-Epoxy Fire compliant - (Material No.13EBK1) on the contour of the smooth edge.
(f) Make sure that all the glass fibers are closed with resin.
NOTE: The resin will become hard after approximately 25 minutes at 23 deg.C (73.40 deg.F).
(g) Let the resin cure for 2 hours at 66 deg.C (150.80 deg.F). (h) Use the CLOTH - ABRASIVE (GRADE 120-180) to make repaired area smooth.
(i) Apply a thin layer of Pore Filler Polyurethane-- - Furnishing (Material No.04BAM6) and Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative Furnishing (Material No.04JMD9) on the repaired area.
NOTE: You can use only Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative Furnishing (Material No.04JMD9) , but the surface protection will not be as good as if you use the two materials.
Subtask 52-33-13-410-053-A
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the repaired bulk cargo-door lining (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-400-001).
(3) Install the door net at the opening of the bulk cargo door.
(4) Install the divider net at FR59.
(5) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the repaired bulk cargo-door lining (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-400-001).
(3) Install the door net at the opening of the bulk cargo door.
(4) Install the divider net at FR59.
(5) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
