Subtask 52-33-11-010-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the bulk door.
(2) Open the bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006) and remove the door net from the bulk door area.
(3) Remove the lining and the insulation of the bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-000-001) to get access to the internal attachment area of the stop fittings.

4. Procedure

A. Cleaning Procedure
(1) Make sure that the area for inspection is clean. If the inspection area is not clean:
(a) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) If there is a Temporary Protection System (TPS) layer applied that prevents the inspection of the area, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

B. Detailed Inspection of Bulk Cargo-Compartment Door Stop-Fittings and Attachment Area, External and Internal
(1) Do an inspection of the stop fittings and the adjacent internal/external bulk door structure and make sure that:

There are no scratches
There are no dents
There is no corrosion.

(2) If you find a damage, contact AIRBUS for the repair procedures.
(3) Make sure that all attachment bolts and screws of the fittings are correctly tightened.
(4) Examine the sealant of all stop fittings for the correct condition. If necessary, remove the sealant with a SCRAPER - WOODEN or a SCRAPER - PLASTIC and apply new sealants.

Subtask 52-33-11-916-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

C. Application of Temporary Protection System (TPS)
(1) Apply Adhesive Film Tape-Masking - - (Material No.05RDA1) on the items adjacent to the area of the seals, bellows, door mechanisms, proximity switches and fittings.
(2) If there is a TPS layer, do a check of the condition of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

NOTE: AIRBUS recommends that you always apply a new layer of TPS. This is to make sure that the TPS layer continues to give satisfactory corrosion protection. If you think that the TPS layer is in the correct condition, you can apply a new layer (as a spray) on the layer.

(3) If the TPS layer is damaged, remove the TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) .
(4) If, before the inspection:

There was a removal of the TPS layer
or
The inspection area was cleaned with high pressure water, steam, solvents and/or cleaning agents.

(a) Apply a full new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) on the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

5. Close-up
Subtask 52-33-11-410-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Install the lining and insulation on the bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-400-001).
(2) Install the door net in the bulk door area and close the bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
