Subtask 52-33-11-010-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Open the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) to get access to the inner side of the Bulk cargo compartment door (referred to as Bulk door).
(2) Remove the divider net between the AFT/Bulk cargo compartment at FR59.
(3) Remove the door net from the opening of the Bulk door.
(4) Remove the lining and the insulation from the Bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-000-001).
(5) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position of the Bulk door.
(6) Open the Bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006) to clean the lateral components.
4. Procedure(1) Open the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) to get access to the inner side of the Bulk cargo compartment door (referred to as Bulk door).
(2) Remove the divider net between the AFT/Bulk cargo compartment at FR59.
(3) Remove the door net from the opening of the Bulk door.
(4) Remove the lining and the insulation from the Bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-000-001).
(5) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position of the Bulk door.
(6) Open the Bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006) to clean the lateral components.
Subtask 52-33-11-160-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Cleaning of the Structure of the Bulk Door
(1) Remove all dirt or unwanted material with a VACUUM CLEANER and/or a dry BRUSH - BRISTLED.
(2) Clean the painted components of the primary structure of the Bulk door with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) or a BRUSH - BRISTLED.
(5) Examine the drain holes and the drain device to make sure that they are clean and not blocked.
(6) Make sure that the corners and the recesses are clean of all unwanted material.
(7) Remove remaining dirt and all old sealant with a SCRAPER - PLASTIC or SCRAPER - WOODEN.
(8) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) to the internal structure of the bulk cargo door.
(9) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-- Soft Film System (Material No.12AGC2) to the external beams and the spars of the bulk door.
Subtask 52-33-11-140-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove all dirt or unwanted material with a VACUUM CLEANER and/or a dry BRUSH - BRISTLED.
(2) Clean the painted components of the primary structure of the Bulk door with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) or a BRUSH - BRISTLED.
NOTE: Make sure that the cleaning agent does not dry on the surface.
(3) Clean the inner surface of the outer skin with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) to remove the remaining adhesive of the insulation panels. NOTE: Make sure that the cleaning agent does not dry on the surface.
(4) Dry the cleaned components with a dry and clean lint-free cloth or with dry, compressed air. (5) Examine the drain holes and the drain device to make sure that they are clean and not blocked.
(6) Make sure that the corners and the recesses are clean of all unwanted material.
(7) Remove remaining dirt and all old sealant with a SCRAPER - PLASTIC or SCRAPER - WOODEN.
(8) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) to the internal structure of the bulk cargo door.
(9) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-- Soft Film System (Material No.12AGC2) to the external beams and the spars of the bulk door.
B. Cleaning of the Door Seal
(1) Clean the door seal with a WATER - SOAPY SOLUTION.
(2) Dry the cleaned door seal with a lint-free cloth or with dry, compressed air.
(3) Apply Testing Medium-Fuel Leak Detection White Powder - (Material No.14CDB1) to the door seal.
Subtask 52-33-11-110-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the door seal with a WATER - SOAPY SOLUTION.
(2) Dry the cleaned door seal with a lint-free cloth or with dry, compressed air.
(3) Apply Testing Medium-Fuel Leak Detection White Powder - (Material No.14CDB1) to the door seal.
C. Cleaning of the Locking Mechanism and the Balance Mechanism
(1) Clean the painted components of the locking mechanism with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free and a lint-free cloth.
(2) Clean the not painted components of the locking mechanism with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth.
(3) Clean the components of the balance mechanism and the lateral stop assemblies with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth.
(5) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) to the cleaned components which have no other surface protection.
Subtask 52-33-11-370-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the painted components of the locking mechanism with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free and a lint-free cloth.
(2) Clean the not painted components of the locking mechanism with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth.
(3) Clean the components of the balance mechanism and the lateral stop assemblies with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth.
NOTE: Make sure that the cleaning agent does not dry on the surface.
(4) Dry the cleaned components with a dry and clean lint-free cloth. (5) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) to the cleaned components which have no other surface protection.
D. Painting Procedure
(2) Make sure that the edge of the serviceable paint area is feathered to the repair area.
(3) Put FILM - MASKING to the adjacent area.
(4) Apply Surface Pretreatment-Light Alloys Chemical Conversion Yellow - (Material No.10ABC1) to the metal surface of the repaired area and let it dry.
(5) Apply Primer Epoxy Paint-- Corrosion Inhibiting Structure (Material No.04DAB2) to the prepared area and let it dry.
(6) Apply Top Coat Polyurethane_- Grey Internal Structure (Material No.04JME4) to the primer and let it dry.
(7) Remove the masking material.
Subtask 52-33-11-710-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: For repair of major paint damage refer to 51-75-12-300-00100.
(1) Remove minor damage of the paint top coat with PAPER - ABRASIVE (GRADE 320). (2) Make sure that the edge of the serviceable paint area is feathered to the repair area.
(3) Put FILM - MASKING to the adjacent area.
(4) Apply Surface Pretreatment-Light Alloys Chemical Conversion Yellow - (Material No.10ABC1) to the metal surface of the repaired area and let it dry.
(5) Apply Primer Epoxy Paint-- Corrosion Inhibiting Structure (Material No.04DAB2) to the prepared area and let it dry.
(6) Apply Top Coat Polyurethane_- Grey Internal Structure (Material No.04JME4) to the primer and let it dry.
(7) Remove the masking material.
E. Operational Test
(1) Operate the internal or the external door handle to make sure that the locking mechanism is serviceable.
(2) Make sure that the balance mechanism is serviceable.
5. Close-up(1) Operate the internal or the external door handle to make sure that the locking mechanism is serviceable.
(2) Make sure that the balance mechanism is serviceable.
Subtask 52-33-11-410-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Make sure that the VELCRO tapes on the structure of the Bulk door are correctly attached.
(3) If necessary, close the Bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
(4) Install the insulation packs and the protection lining to the Bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-400-001).
(5) Install the door net in the opening of the Bulk door.
(6) Install the divider net between the Bulk/AFT cargo compartment at FR59.
(7) Close the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(8) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Make sure that the VELCRO tapes on the structure of the Bulk door are correctly attached.
(3) If necessary, close the Bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
(4) Install the insulation packs and the protection lining to the Bulk door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-33-13-400-001).
(5) Install the door net in the opening of the Bulk door.
(6) Install the divider net between the Bulk/AFT cargo compartment at FR59.
(7) Close the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(8) Remove the access platform(s).
