(1) When you install/connect the components, refer to the marks that you made during the removal procedure.
(2) Install the sequence shaft (400) on the cargo door:
(a) Move the sequence shaft (400) slowly in the cargo door.
(b) During the movement of the sequence shaft (400), install the lock cam (399) on it.
(c) Make sure that the attachment holes of the lock cam (399) align with the attachment holes of the sequence shaft (400).
(d) Install the hi-lok pins (398) and the nuts (414) on the lock cam (399).
(e) TORQUE the nuts (414) to between 4.8 and 3.7 m.N (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )

(f) Install the serrated lever (392), the washer (391) and the screw (390) on the sequence shaft (400).
(g) Make sure that the attachment hole of the serrated lever (392) aligns with the attachment holes of the sequence shaft (400).
(h) Tighten the screw (390).
(i) Install the sleeve (417) on the link lever (408).
(j) Install the serrated lever (416) and the link lever (408) on the locking shaft (400).
(k) Make sure that the attachment hole of the serrated lever (416) aligns with the attachment holes of the sequence shaft (400).
(l) Install the hi-lok pin (415), the washer (401) and the nut (402).
(m) Tighten the nut (402).
(3) Connect the bellcrank assembly (412) to the serrated lever (416):
(a) Put the fork-end of the bellcrank assembly (412) on the eye-end of the serrated lever (416).
(b) Install the washers (411), the bolt (413) and the nut (410).
(c) Tighten the nut (410) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-84-48-210 COTTER PIN (409).
(4) Connect the link assembly (406) to the link lever (408):
(a) Put the upper fork-end of the link assembly (406) on the eye-end of the link lever (408).
(b) Install the bolt (407), the washer (405) and the nut (404).
(c) Tighten the nut (404) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-84-42-100 COTTER PIN (403).
(5) Connect the connection rod (395) to the serrated lever (392):
(a) Put the upper eye-end of the connection rod (395) in the fork-end of the serrated lever (392).
(b) Install the washers (393), the bolt (394) and the nut (396).
(c) Tighten the nut (396) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-84-42-020 COTTER PIN (397).

(1) Make sure that the AFT cargo-compartment door (referred to as cargo door) is open and safetied with the actuator safety locks (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position below the opened cargo door.
(3) Make sure that the access panel 826AR is removed from the cargo door.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Apply a layer of the Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to all the movable parts.
Subtask 52-32-21-420-074-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Apply a layer of the Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to all the movable parts.
B. Installation of the Sequence Shaft Assembly
(1) Install the sequence shaft (400) in the cargo door structure as follows:
(a) Move the sequence shaft (400) slowly through the cargo door structure.
(b) During this movement, assemble the lock cam (399) on the locking shaft (400).
(c) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure. Assemble the lock cam (399) in its correct position on the locking shaft (400).
(d) Make sure that the attachment holes align.
(e) Install the Hi-Lok pins (398), the washers (417) and the nuts (414).
(f) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure and assemble the serrated lever (392) on the sequence shaft (400)
(g) Install the screw (390) and the washer (391) in the serrated lever (392) and tighten it.
(h) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure. Assemble the serrated lever (416) and the link lever (408) on the locking shaft (400).
(i) Make sure that the attachment holes align.
(j) Install the Hi-Lok pin (415), the washer (401) and the nut (402).
(k) Tighten the nuts (402) and (414).
(2) Connect the bellcrank assy (412) to the serrated lever (416) as follows:
(a) Put the fork-end of the bellcrank assy (412) on the eye-end of the serrated lever (416).
(b) Install the bolt (413), the washers (411) and the nut (410).
(c) Tighten the nut (410) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-21-42-020 COTTER PIN (409).
(3) Connect the link assembly (406) to the link lever (408) as follows:
(a) Put the upper fork-end of the link assembly (406) on the eye-end of the link lever (408).
(b) Install the bolt (407), the washer (405) and the nut (404).
(c) Tighten the nut (404) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-21-46-100 COTTER PIN (403).
(4) Connect the connection rod (395) to the serrated lever (392) as follows:
(a) Put the upper eye-end of the connection rod (395) in the fork-end of the serrated lever (392).
(b) Install the bolt (394), the washers (393) and the nut (396).
(c) Tighten the nut (396) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-21-46-020 COTTER PIN (397).
Subtask 52-32-21-420-074-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the sequence shaft (400) in the cargo door structure as follows:
(a) Move the sequence shaft (400) slowly through the cargo door structure.
(b) During this movement, assemble the lock cam (399) on the locking shaft (400).
(c) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure. Assemble the lock cam (399) in its correct position on the locking shaft (400).
(d) Make sure that the attachment holes align.
(e) Install the Hi-Lok pins (398), the washers (417) and the nuts (414).
(f) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure and assemble the serrated lever (392) on the sequence shaft (400)
(g) Install the screw (390) and the washer (391) in the serrated lever (392) and tighten it.
(h) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure. Assemble the serrated lever (416) and the link lever (408) on the locking shaft (400).
(i) Make sure that the attachment holes align.
(j) Install the Hi-Lok pin (415), the washer (401) and the nut (402).
(k) Tighten the nuts (402) and (414).
(2) Connect the bellcrank assy (412) to the serrated lever (416) as follows:
(a) Put the fork-end of the bellcrank assy (412) on the eye-end of the serrated lever (416).
(b) Install the bolt (413), the washers (411) and the nut (410).

(1) Install the sequence shaft (400) in the cargo door structure as follows:
(a) Move the sequence shaft (400) slowly through the cargo door structure.
(b) During this movement, assemble the lock cam (399) on the locking shaft (400).
(c) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure. Assemble the lock cam (399) in its correct position on the locking shaft (400).
(d) Make sure that the attachment holes align.
(e) Install the Hi-Lok pins (398), the washers (417) and the nuts (414).
(f) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure and assemble the serrated lever (392) on the sequence shaft (400)
(g) Install the screw (390) and the washer (391) in the serrated lever (392) and tighten it.
(h) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure. Assemble the serrated lever (416) and the link lever (408) on the locking shaft (400).
(i) Make sure that the attachment holes align.
(j) Install the Hi-Lok pin (415), the washer (401) and the nut (402).
(k) Tighten the nuts (402) and (414).
(2) Connect the bellcrank assy (412) to the serrated lever (416) as follows:
(a) Put the fork-end of the bellcrank assy (412) on the eye-end of the serrated lever (416).
(b) Install the bolt (413), the washers (411) and the nut (410).
(c) Tighten the nut (410) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-21-41-210 COTTER PIN (409).
(3) Connect the link assembly (406) to the link lever (408) as follows:
(a) Put the upper fork-end of the link assembly (406) on the eye-end of the link lever (408).
(b) Install the bolt (407), the washer (405) and the nut (404).
(c) Tighten the nut (404) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-21-45-100 COTTER PIN (403).
(4) Connect the connection rod (395) to the serrated lever (392) as follows:
(a) Put the upper eye-end of the connection rod (395) in the fork-end of the serrated lever (392).
(b) Install the bolt (394), the washers (393) and the nut (396).
(c) Tighten the nut (396) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-21-45-020 COTTER PIN (397).

(a) Move the sequence shaft (400) slowly through the cargo door structure.

(c) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure. Assemble the lock cam (399) in its correct position on the locking shaft (400).
(d) Make sure that the attachment holes align.
(e) Install the Hi-Lok pins (398), the washers (417) and the nuts (414).
(f) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure and assemble the serrated lever (392) on the sequence shaft (400)
(g) Install the screw (390) and the washer (391) in the serrated lever (392) and tighten it.
(h) Refer to the marks you made during the removal procedure. Assemble the serrated lever (416) and the link lever (408) on the locking shaft (400).
(i) Make sure that the attachment holes align.
(j) Install the Hi-Lok pin (415), the washer (401) and the nut (402).
(k) Tighten the nuts (402) and (414).
(2) Connect the bellcrank assy (412) to the serrated lever (416) as follows:
(a) Put the fork-end of the bellcrank assy (412) on the eye-end of the serrated lever (416).
(b) Install the bolt (413), the washers (411) and the nut (410).
(c) Tighten the nut (410) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-21-41-210 COTTER PIN (409).
(3) Connect the link assembly (406) to the link lever (408) as follows:
(a) Put the upper fork-end of the link assembly (406) on the eye-end of the link lever (408).
(b) Install the bolt (407), the washer (405) and the nut (404).
(c) Tighten the nut (404) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-21-45-100 COTTER PIN (403).
(4) Connect the connection rod (395) to the serrated lever (392) as follows:
(a) Put the upper eye-end of the connection rod (395) in the fork-end of the serrated lever (392).
(b) Install the bolt (394), the washers (393) and the nut (396).
(c) Tighten the nut (396) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-21-45-020 COTTER PIN (397).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
B. Installation of the Sequence Shaft Assembly(1) When you install/connect the components, refer to the marks that you made during the removal procedure.
(2) Install the sequence shaft (400) on the cargo door:
(a) Move the sequence shaft (400) slowly in the cargo door.
(b) During the movement of the sequence shaft (400), install the lock cam (399) on it.
(c) Make sure that the attachment holes of the lock cam (399) align with the attachment holes of the sequence shaft (400).
(d) Install the hi-lok pins (398) and the nuts (414) on the lock cam (399).
(e) TORQUE the nuts (414) to between 4.8 and 3.7 m.N (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )
.(f) Install the serrated lever (392), the washer (391) and the screw (390) on the sequence shaft (400).
(g) Make sure that the attachment hole of the serrated lever (392) aligns with the attachment holes of the sequence shaft (400).
(h) Tighten the screw (390).
(i) Install the sleeve (417) on the link lever (408).
(j) Install the serrated lever (416) and the link lever (408) on the locking shaft (400).
(k) Make sure that the attachment hole of the serrated lever (416) aligns with the attachment holes of the sequence shaft (400).
(l) Install the hi-lok pin (415), the washer (401) and the nut (402).
(m) Tighten the nut (402).
(3) Connect the bellcrank assembly (412) to the serrated lever (416):
(a) Put the fork-end of the bellcrank assembly (412) on the eye-end of the serrated lever (416).
(b) Install the washers (411), the bolt (413) and the nut (410).
(c) Tighten the nut (410) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-84-48-210 COTTER PIN (409).
(4) Connect the link assembly (406) to the link lever (408):
(a) Put the upper fork-end of the link assembly (406) on the eye-end of the link lever (408).
(b) Install the bolt (407), the washer (405) and the nut (404).
(c) Tighten the nut (404) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-84-42-100 COTTER PIN (403).
(5) Connect the connection rod (395) to the serrated lever (392):
(a) Put the upper eye-end of the connection rod (395) in the fork-end of the serrated lever (392).
(b) Install the washers (393), the bolt (394) and the nut (396).
(c) Tighten the nut (396) and safety it with the new AIPC 52-32-84-42-020 COTTER PIN (397).
D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Do the functional test of the door mechanism to make sure that the sequence mechanism operates correctly (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-00-720-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Apply the Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or the Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to all the components of the sequence shaft assembly and to the adjacent cargo door structure.
(3) Install the access panel 826AR on the cargo door.
(4) Remove the actuator safety locks and close the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 52-32-21-410-064-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Apply the Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or the Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to all the components of the sequence shaft assembly and to the adjacent cargo door structure.
(3) Install the access panel 826AR on the cargo door.
(4) Remove the actuator safety locks and close the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Apply the Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or the Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to:

- All the components of the sequence shaft assembly
- The adjacent cargo door structure.
(4) Remove the actuator safety locks and close the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
Access Panel and Protection Plugs
