A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic reservoirs are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(4) Make sure that the cargo door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) and safetied with the 98D52307524000 STRUT-SUPPORT,CARGO DOORS (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-480-001).
(5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE stays in position below the open cargo door.
Subtask 52-32-18-865-051-A (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic reservoirs are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

(4) Make sure that the cargo door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) and safetied with the 98D52307524000 STRUT-SUPPORT,CARGO DOORS (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-480-001).
(5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE stays in position below the open cargo door.

Subtask 52-32-18-420-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Door Seal and the Related Components
(1) Install the door seal (1) as follows:
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Push the door seal (1) correctly into the retainer (2).
(e) Make sure that the inflation holes of the door seal (1) are in their correct position:
(f) Lubricate the door seal (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-22-52-640-017).
(a) Put the piston eye-end (18) in the actuator attachment fitting (13) and install the bolt (14) with the washer (15).
1 If you cannot install the bolt (14) adjust the length of the door actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-11-820-004).
(b) Install the washer (15) and the nut (16) on the bolt (14).
(c) TORQUE the nut (16) to between 1.35 and 1.0 m.daN (119.47 and 88.50 lbf.in )

(d) Safety the nut (16) with the new AIPC 52-36-04-08-080 COTTER PIN (17) or the new AIPC 52-36-84-40-080 COTTER PIN (17).
(e) Install the bonding jumper (10) with the bolt (12), the washer (11) and the nut (9) at the actuator attachment fitting (13) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(3) Install wire harness 4613VB (21) in the door actuator area and connect the electrical connector (20) to the receptacle (19) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-24-400-001).
Subtask 52-32-18-420-050-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the door seal (1) as follows:
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Push the door seal (1) correctly into the retainer (2).
CAUTION:
TO INSTALL THE SEAL WITH EQUAL PRETENSION AND PREVENT WRINKLES, INSTALL THE FOUR PREFORMED CORNERS MARKED ON THE SEAL, THEN THE STRAIGHT PARTS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, AIR LEAKS CAN OCCUR.
(d) Make sure that the ink mark "LOWER DOOR" is in the correct position. (e) Make sure that the inflation holes of the door seal (1) are in their correct position:
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE DOOR SEAL IS INSTALLED IN THE CORRECT POSITION. IF IT IS NOT INSTALLED IN THE CORRECT POSITION, IT WILL NOT INFLATE CORRECTLY DURING FLIGHT.
1 Make sure that the inflation holes of the door seal (1) are in their correct position on the inner side of the cargo door. (f) Lubricate the door seal (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-22-52-640-017).
NOTE: For lubrication of the door seal (1), refer to the latest revision of EASA AD 2021-0049.
(2) Install the door actuator at the cargo door as follows: (a) Put the piston eye-end (18) in the actuator attachment fitting (13) and install the bolt (14) with the washer (15).
1 If you cannot install the bolt (14) adjust the length of the door actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-11-820-004).
(b) Install the washer (15) and the nut (16) on the bolt (14).
(c) TORQUE the nut (16) to between 1.35 and 1.0 m.daN (119.47 and 88.50 lbf.in )
. (d) Safety the nut (16) with the new AIPC 52-36-04-08-080 COTTER PIN (17) or the new AIPC 52-36-84-40-080 COTTER PIN (17).
(e) Install the bonding jumper (10) with the bolt (12), the washer (11) and the nut (9) at the actuator attachment fitting (13) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(3) Install wire harness 4613VB (21) in the door actuator area and connect the electrical connector (20) to the receptacle (19) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-24-400-001).
A. Installation of the Door Seal and the Related Components

(g) Install the bonding jumper (10), the washer (11), the bolt (12) and the nut (9) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(3) Install wire harness 4613VB (21) in the door actuator area and connect the electrical connector (20) to the receptacle (19) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-24-400-001).
Subtask 52-32-18-860-052-A (1) Install the door seal (1) as follows:
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Push the door seal (1) correctly into the retainer (2).

(e) TORQUE the nut (16) to between 1.35 and 1.0 m.daN (119.47 and 88.50 lbf.in )
.WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
(f) Safety the nut (16) with the new AIPC 52-36-04-08-080 COTTER PIN (17) or the new AIPC 52-36-84-40-080 COTTER PIN (17).(g) Install the bonding jumper (10), the washer (11), the bolt (12) and the nut (9) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(3) Install wire harness 4613VB (21) in the door actuator area and connect the electrical connector (20) to the receptacle (19) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-24-400-001).
B. Preparation of the Inspection
(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(3) Remove the 98D52307524000 STRUT-SUPPORT,CARGO DOORS from the cargo door and the fuselage frames (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-080-001).
Subtask 52-32-18-865-052-A (1) Pressurize the reservoir of the hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(3) Remove the 98D52307524000 STRUT-SUPPORT,CARGO DOORS from the cargo door and the fuselage frames (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-080-001).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Visual Inspection of the Door Seal
(1) Close the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(2) Examine the door seal from the inner side of the cargo compartment and make sure that it is compressed along its length.
(3) Make sure that the inflation holes of the door seal are in their correct position:
