3. Job Set-up
Subtask 52-32-11-010-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the AFT cargo-compartment door (referred to as the cargo door).
   (2) Remove the access panel 826AR from the closed cargo door.
   (3) Open the cargo door and safety it with the actuator safety lock (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 52-32-11-210-064-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. General Visual Inspection Procedure
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Examine the locking hooks for corrosion, cracks, distortion, fretting, gouges, nicks, scratches and/or other damage.
     (a) If you find corrosion, cracks, distortion, fretting, gouges, nicks, scratches or other damage:
       1 Find the dimensions of the damage and the permitted limits SRM 523200.
       2 If the damage is less than the limit, repair the damage (Ref. AMM TASK 51-73-11-300-002).
       3 If the damage is more than the limit, replace the locking hook (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-21-000-013) and (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-21-400-013).
   (3) Examine the bushes and bolts of the locking hook mechanisms for corrosion, cracks, gouges, nicks, scratches, wear or other damage.
     (a) If you find corrosion, cracks, gouges, nicks, scratches, wear or or damage:
       1 Find the dimensions of the damage and the permitted limits SRM 523200.
       2 If the damage is less than the limit, repair the damage (Ref. AMM TASK 51-73-11-300-002).
       3 If the damage is more than the limit, replace the applicable parts of the locking hook mechanism (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-21-000-013) and (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-21-400-013).
   (4) Examine the fork fitting assemblies for corrosion, cracks, distortion, fretting, gouges, nicks, scratches or other damage.
     (a) If you find corrosion, cracks, distortion, fretting, gouges, nicks, scratches or other damage:
       1 Find the dimensions of the damage and the permitted limits SRM 523200.
       2 If the damage is less than the limit, repair the damage SRM 517300.
       3 If the damage is more than the limit, repair/replace the fork fitting assemblies as necessary SRM 523200.
5. Close-up
Subtask 52-32-11-410-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the actuator safety lock and close the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (3) Install the access panel 826AR on the closed cargo door.
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
