(1) Open the AFT cargo door and safety it with the support struts (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the opened cargo door.

(1) Remove the lining and the insulation of the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-000-001) to get access to the internal cargo door structure.
(2) Remove the nuts, the washers and the countersunk-screws from the holes of the piano hinges that you must examine NTM 523116.

D. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the hinge fittings and their internal attachment areas are clean.
(2) If necessary, clean the hinge fittings and their internal attachment areas (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-11-100-001).
(3) Do a visual inspection of the inspection area and look for damage.
(4) Make sure that the holes for the removed countersunk-screws are clean and smooth.

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-32-11-250-050-A

A. Special Detailed Inspection (ROTO) of AFT Cargo Compartment Door Skin Underneath Hinge Fittings at Selected Bolt Holes
(1) Do the eddy current test to inspect the selected holes of the hinge fittings and the door structure NTM 523116.
(2) If you find damage:
(a) Do an analysis of the damage SRM 511100 and record the direction and depth of the damage.
(b) If possible, remove the corrosion SRM 51740000.
(c) If possible, remove the minor damage SRM 51730000.
(d) If the removal of the damage is not possible, repair the effected component SRM 52300000.

B. Do the procedure for the application of the temporary protection system (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed countersunk-screws, the washers and the nuts at the inspected holes of the piano hinges.
(3) Install the lining and the insulation of the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-400-001).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
