Subtask 52-32-11-010-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Open the AFT cargo compartment door (referred to as cargo door) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Remove the door lining and the insulation mats from the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-000-001) to clean the internal structure.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the cargo door.
(4) Remove the access panel 826AR to clean the door locking mechanism(s) and the adjacent structure.
Subtask 52-32-11-010-064-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the AFT cargo compartment door (referred to as cargo door) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Remove the door lining and the insulation mats from the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-000-001) to clean the internal structure.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the cargo door.
(4) Remove the access panel 826AR to clean the door locking mechanism(s) and the adjacent structure.
A. Get Access
(1) Open the AFT cargo compartment door (referred to as cargo door) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Remove the door lining and the insulation mats from the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-000-001) to clean the internal structure.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the cargo door.
(4) Remove the access panels 826AR 826BR to clean the door locking mechanism(s) and the adjacent structure.
4. Procedure(1) Open the AFT cargo compartment door (referred to as cargo door) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Remove the door lining and the insulation mats from the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-000-001) to clean the internal structure.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the cargo door.
(4) Remove the access panels 826AR 826BR to clean the door locking mechanism(s) and the adjacent structure.
Subtask 52-32-11-160-050-A
A. Cleaning of the Structure of the Cargo Door and the Related Vent Door
(1) Remove all loose particles and unwanted material with a VACUUM CLEANER and/or a dry BRUSH - BRISTLED.
(2) Clean the painted components of the structure of the cargo door and the vent door as follows:
(a) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) or a brush and carefully clean the internal structure with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(b) Carefully clean the adjacent structure of the door locking mechanism with a lint-free cloth and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(c) Carefully clean the outer skin of the cargo door with a lint-free cloth and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(4) Make sure that the corners and the recesses are clean of all unwanted and loose material.
(5) Examine the drain valves and drain holes to make sure that they are clean and not blocked.
(6) Remove remaining dirt and all old sealants with a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC.
(7) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) to the internal structure of the cargo door.
(8) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-- Soft Film System (Material No.12AGC2) to the vertical and horizontal edge members of the cargo door.
Subtask 52-32-11-160-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove all loose particles and unwanted material with a VACUUM CLEANER and/or a dry BRUSH - BRISTLED.
(2) Clean the painted components of the structure of the cargo door and the vent door as follows:
(a) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) or a brush and carefully clean the internal structure with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(b) Carefully clean the adjacent structure of the door locking mechanism with a lint-free cloth and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(c) Carefully clean the outer skin of the cargo door with a lint-free cloth and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
NOTE: Make sure that the cleaning agent does not dry on the surface.
(3) Dry the cleaned structure with a dry and clean lint-free cloth or with dry, compressed air. (4) Make sure that the corners and the recesses are clean of all unwanted and loose material.
(5) Examine the drain valves and drain holes to make sure that they are clean and not blocked.
(6) Remove remaining dirt and all old sealants with a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC.
(7) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) to the internal structure of the cargo door.
(8) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-- Soft Film System (Material No.12AGC2) to the vertical and horizontal edge members of the cargo door.
B. Cleaning of the six sight glasses.
(2) Clean the windows with a weak soap solution.
(3) Dry the windows with a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) If more cleaning is required, apply the Aqueous Cleaner-Transparent Plastic - - (Material No.08AFA1) to clean the windows and dry them with a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 52-32-11-160-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: Do not rub the surfaces with dry cloth.
(1) On the access panel 826AR. (2) Clean the windows with a weak soap solution.
(3) Dry the windows with a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) If more cleaning is required, apply the Aqueous Cleaner-Transparent Plastic - - (Material No.08AFA1) to clean the windows and dry them with a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
B. Cleaning of the six sight glasses.
(2) Clean the windows with a weak soap solution.
(3) Dry the windows with a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) If more cleaning is required, apply the Aqueous Cleaner-Transparent Plastic - - (Material No.08AFA1) to clean the windows and dry them with a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 52-32-11-140-050-A NOTE: Do not rub the surfaces with dry cloth.
(1) On the access panels 826AR and 826BR. (2) Clean the windows with a weak soap solution.
(3) Dry the windows with a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) If more cleaning is required, apply the Aqueous Cleaner-Transparent Plastic - - (Material No.08AFA1) to clean the windows and dry them with a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
C. Cleaning of the Door Seal
(1) Clean the door seal with a WATER - SOAPY SOLUTION.
(2) Dry the cleaned door seal with a lint-free cloth or with dry compressed air.
(3) Apply Testing Medium-Fuel Leak Detection White Powder - (Material No.14CDB1) to the door seal.
Subtask 52-32-11-110-050-A (1) Clean the door seal with a WATER - SOAPY SOLUTION.
(2) Dry the cleaned door seal with a lint-free cloth or with dry compressed air.
(3) Apply Testing Medium-Fuel Leak Detection White Powder - (Material No.14CDB1) to the door seal.
D. Cleaning of the Door Locking Mechanism and the Electrical Components
(1) Clean the door locking mechanism as follows:
(a) Clean the subsequent components with lint-free cloth or a brush and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9)
(c) Clean the related bearings of the locking and safety shafts with a dry and clean lint-free cloth.
(d) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) to the cleaned components of the door locking mechanism.
(2) Clean the electrical components as follows:
(a) Clean the electrical cable looms with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) and a lint-free cloth.
(b) Clean all electrical connectors, the terminal block 7516VC and the proximity switches 34WV and 12MJ with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and lint-free cloth.
Subtask 52-32-11-370-050-A (1) Clean the door locking mechanism as follows:
(a) Clean the subsequent components with lint-free cloth or a brush and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9)
- the locking handle with the related flap mechanism,
- the locking units,
- the drift pin mechanism,
- the interlock mechanism,
- the vent door mechanism,
- the locking and the safety shaft.
(c) Clean the related bearings of the locking and safety shafts with a dry and clean lint-free cloth.
(d) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) to the cleaned components of the door locking mechanism.
(2) Clean the electrical components as follows:
(a) Clean the electrical cable looms with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) and a lint-free cloth.
(b) Clean all electrical connectors, the terminal block 7516VC and the proximity switches 34WV and 12MJ with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and lint-free cloth.
E. Painting Procedure
(1) Remove minor damage of the paint top coat with CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 320).
(3) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and lint-free cloth.
(4) Put TAPE - MASKING around the adjacent area.
(5) Apply Surface Pretreatment-Light Alloys Chemical Conversion Yellow - (Material No.10ABC1) to the metal surface of the repaired area and let it dry.
(6) Apply Primer Epoxy Paint-- Corrosion Inhibiting Structure (Material No.04DAB2) to the prepared area and let it dry.
(7) Apply Top Coat Polyurethane_- Grey Internal Structure (Material No.04JME4) to the primer and let it dry.
(8) Remove the masking material.
Subtask 52-32-11-210-057-A (1) Remove minor damage of the paint top coat with CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 320).
NOTE: For repair of major paint damage refer to 51-75-12-300-00100.
(2) Make sure that the edge of the serviceable paint area is feathered to the repair area. (3) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and lint-free cloth.
(4) Put TAPE - MASKING around the adjacent area.
(5) Apply Surface Pretreatment-Light Alloys Chemical Conversion Yellow - (Material No.10ABC1) to the metal surface of the repaired area and let it dry.
(6) Apply Primer Epoxy Paint-- Corrosion Inhibiting Structure (Material No.04DAB2) to the prepared area and let it dry.
(7) Apply Top Coat Polyurethane_- Grey Internal Structure (Material No.04JME4) to the primer and let it dry.
(8) Remove the masking material.
F. Operational Test
(1) Operate the locking handle to make sure that the door locking mechanism of the cargo door is serviceable.
(2) Make sure that the receptacles of the door lining attachment are serviceable.
5. Close-up(1) Operate the locking handle to make sure that the door locking mechanism of the cargo door is serviceable.
(2) Make sure that the receptacles of the door lining attachment are serviceable.
Subtask 52-32-11-410-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the door lining and insulation mats on the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-400-001).
(3) Install the access panel 826AR on the cargo door.
(4) Close the AFT cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 52-32-11-410-064-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the door lining and insulation mats on the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-400-001).
(3) Install the access panel 826AR on the cargo door.
(4) Close the AFT cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the door lining and insulation mats on the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-400-001).
(3) Install the access panels 826AR 826BR on the cargo door.
(4) Close the AFT cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the door lining and insulation mats on the cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-400-001).
(3) Install the access panels 826AR 826BR on the cargo door.
(4) Close the AFT cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
