A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is closed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the aft cargo-compartment door.

(1) Remove the damaged access panel 826AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-14-000-801).

B. Inspection of the Aft Cargo-Compartment Door

(1) Do an inspection of the aft cargo-compartment door to make sure it is correctly closed and locked:
(a) Make sure that the door handle is in the LOCKED position and is into the recess of the door structure.
(b) Make sure that the handle flap is flush with the outer skin of the cargo door.
(c) Make sure that all the latching hooks are in the CLOSED position.
(d) Make sure that you can see the green mark of all the lock cams clearly from the outside (lock cams have locked the latching hooks in the CLOSED position).
(e) Make sure that the vent door is closed.
