A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the forward cargo-compartment door is closed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the forward cargo-compartment door.

A. Deactivation of the Forward Cargo-Compartment Door Access-Panel 825AR
(1) Remove the damaged access panel 825AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-14-000-801).
Subtask 52-31-00-210-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the damaged access panel 825AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-14-000-801).
B. Inspection of the Forward Cargo-Compartment Door
(1) Do an inspection of the forward cargo-compartment door to make sure that it is correctly closed and locked:
(a) Make sure that the door handle is in the LOCKED position and is into the recess of the door structure.
(b) Make sure that all the locking hooks are in the CLOSED position.
(c) Make sure that you can see the green mark of all the safety cams clearly from the outside (safety cams have locked the locking hooks in the CLOSED position).
(d) Make sure that the vent door is closed.
Subtask 52-31-00-210-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do an inspection of the forward cargo-compartment door to make sure that it is correctly closed and locked:

(c) Make sure that all the latching hooks are in the CLOSED position.
(d) Make sure that you can see the green mark of all the lock cams clearly from the outside (lock cams have locked the latching hooks in the CLOSED position).
(e) Make sure that the vent door is closed.
5. Close-up(1) Do an inspection of the forward cargo-compartment door to make sure that it is correctly closed and locked:
(a) Make sure that the door handle is in the LOCKED position and is into the recess of the door structure.
(b) Make sure that the handle flap is flush with the outer skin of the cargo door.
(c) Make sure that all the latching hooks are in the CLOSED position.
(d) Make sure that you can see the green mark of all the lock cams clearly from the outside (lock cams have locked the latching hooks in the CLOSED position).
(e) Make sure that the vent door is closed.
