C. Get Access
(1) Obey the special precautions before you work on the offwing escape-slide systems (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-00-481-001).
(2) Open applicable overwing emergency-exit door 833 ( 843) or 834 ( 844) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-802).
(3) Remove related cover 241ADW (242ADW) or 241AEW (242AEW) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-803).
(4) Remove the adjacent lower sidewall panel (dado panels) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-22-61-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Locking Hook
(1) Use the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC to remove the sealant (7):

Around the locking hook (3) and the plate (4)
On the heads of the bolts (1) and the nuts (5).

(2) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (2) and the bolts (1).
(3) Remove the locking hook (3) and the plate (4) from the structure (8).
