Subtask 52-22-18-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the applicable emergency exit door (referred to as door) is opened as required (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the opened door.
(3) Make sure that the special precaution on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder is completed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
Subtask 52-22-18-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the applicable emergency exit door (referred to as door) is opened as required (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the opened door.
(3) Make sure that the special precaution on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder is completed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Clean all retainers and the inner skin of the door area with a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC and Non Aqueous Cleaner-Non structural use - - (Material No.08BPA1) .
(4) Clean the countersinks with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC and Non Aqueous Cleaner-Non structural use - - (Material No.08BPA1) .
Subtask 52-22-18-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Clean all retainers and the inner skin of the door area with a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC and Non Aqueous Cleaner-Non structural use - - (Material No.08BPA1) .
(4) Clean the countersinks with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC and Non Aqueous Cleaner-Non structural use - - (Material No.08BPA1) .
B. Installation of the Door Seal
(1) Put the door seal (12) in position on the door.
(2) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) on the countersinks before you install the screws (10) and (11).
(3) Install the retainers (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5) with the screws (10) and the nuts (9).
(4) Install the retainers (6), (7) and (8) with the screws (11) and the nuts (9).
(5) Tighten the nuts (9).
(6) Make sure that the door seal (12) is correctly installed.
(7) Fill all the joints and the spaces between all the retainers with Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) .
(8) Apply a bead of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) in the corner between the retainers and the inner skin of the door area.
(9) Use the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to remove the unwanted sealant from the door and/or the adjacent area.
(10) Apply Silicone base Grease-Mechanisms and Seals - - (Material No.03JCA9) on the door seal (12).
(11) Apply a layer of Primer Polyurethane Paint_- Corrosion Inhibiting Structure (Material No.04EAC2) and Top Coat Polyurethane_- Grey Internal Structure (Material No.04JME4) on the nuts (9).
(12) Repair the paint damage of the outer skin of the door (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-003).
5. Close-up(1) Put the door seal (12) in position on the door.
(2) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) on the countersinks before you install the screws (10) and (11).
(3) Install the retainers (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5) with the screws (10) and the nuts (9).
(4) Install the retainers (6), (7) and (8) with the screws (11) and the nuts (9).
(5) Tighten the nuts (9).
(6) Make sure that the door seal (12) is correctly installed.
(7) Fill all the joints and the spaces between all the retainers with Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) .
(8) Apply a bead of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) in the corner between the retainers and the inner skin of the door area.
(9) Use the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to remove the unwanted sealant from the door and/or the adjacent area.
(10) Apply Silicone base Grease-Mechanisms and Seals - - (Material No.03JCA9) on the door seal (12).
(11) Apply a layer of Primer Polyurethane Paint_- Corrosion Inhibiting Structure (Material No.04EAC2) and Top Coat Polyurethane_- Grey Internal Structure (Material No.04JME4) on the nuts (9).
(12) Repair the paint damage of the outer skin of the door (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-003).
Subtask 52-22-18-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Do the special precaution for the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
(3) Close applicable the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 52-22-18-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Do the special precaution for the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
(3) Close applicable the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
