A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the applicable emergency exit door (referred to as door) is opened as required (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the special precaution on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder is completed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the partly opened door.

B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Door Buffer
(1) Put the door buffer (41) into position at the support arm and attach it temporarily with the bolts (42).
(2) Install the washers (43) and the nuts (44) on the bolts (42).
(3) Apply a layer of Primer Polyurethane Paint_- Corrosion Inhibiting Structure (Material No.04EAC2) and Top Coat Polyurethane_- Grey Internal Structure (Material No.04JME4) to the bolts (42) and nuts (44).

B. Do the adjustment procedure of the door buffer (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-820-006).

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Do the special precaution on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
(3) Close the emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
