Subtask 52-22-00-820-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Adjustment of the Hooks
NOTE: The most FWD and most AFT hooks (1) must touch the rear of the rollers (2). The clearance A between the middle hooks and the rear of the rollers is 0 -0 mm or +0.25 mm (0.0000 +0.0000 in. or +0.0098 in.).
   (1) Measure clearances A, B and C with CALIPER and GAGE - FEELER:
  • Clearance A must be 0 -0 mm or +0.25 mm (0.0000 +0.0000 in. or +0.0098 in.)
  • Clearances B and C must be 2 mm (0.0787 in.) minimum.
   (2) Measure skin offset S4 and make sure that its value is 0.4 -0.8 mm or +0.8 mm (0.0157 -0.0315 in. or +0.0315 in.).
   (3) If the value of skin offset S4 is different, do the steps that follow:
     (a) Record the delta value of the new measurement (measured between the necessary value and the new value).
     (b) Make sure that:
  • One person holds the emergency-exit door in the closed position.
  • The second person sets the latch handle to the DOOR OPEN position.
     (c) Unlock the door.
     (d) Loosen the bolts (4) and the nuts (6).
     (e) Remove the Varnish Polyurethane-- Marking Structure (Material No.04SAB2) from the heads of the bolts (4) and the nuts (6).
     (f) Remove the layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) from the edge of the hook (1) and the plate (5).
     (g) Adjust the locking hook in the Y direction with the delta value of the measurement.
   (4) Adjust the hook (1) until it aligns with the notch of the plate (5).
NOTE: The adjustment space between the position of the plate (5) and the structure (7) is 1 mm (0.04 in.).
NOTE: The adjustment space between the position of the hook (1) and the plate (5) is 0.75 mm (0.03 in.).
   (5) Install the bolts (4) and the nuts (6).
   (6) TORQUE the bolts (4) and the nuts (6) to between 1.38 and 1.06 m.daN (122.12 and 93.81 lbf.in ) T.
   (7) Apply Varnish Polyurethane-- Marking Structure (Material No.
04SAB2) to the heads of the bolts (4) and the nuts (6).
   (8) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) around the edge of the hook (1) and the plate (5).
   (9) Close and lock the door:
  • One person holds the emergency-exit door in the closed position.
  • The second person sets the latch handle to the DOOR CLOSED position.
   (10) Measure clearances A, B and C again and make sure that they are correct.
   (11) Measure skin offset S4 again and make sure that its value is correct.
