(1) Manually move the roller lever (223) outboard to turn the detent shaft (225) and release the safety catch (224) from the blocking lever (226).
(2) Make sure that the door stays in the lifted position.
(3) If the door moves down, increase the tension of the torsion spring (221) as follows:
(b) Turn the adjustment screw (222) clockwise until the balance mechanism holds the opened door in the lifted position.
(4) Put a DYNAMOMETER 20 DAN (45 LBF) - PULL in position on the inboard handle.
(6) Slowly operate the inboard handle up and measure the force necessary to open the door. The force must be less than 15.0 daN (33.721 lbf). The difference between the "open" and "close" force must be less than 5.0 daN (11.240 lbf).
(7) If the force is more than permitted, turn the adjustment screw (222) clockwise to increase the tension of the torsion spring.
(8) Do again the check of the operational force.
(9) If the adjustment of the balance mechanism is correct, safety the adjustment screw (222) with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
