NOTE: This task is not applicable to the deactivated overwing emergency-exit door.

C. Get Access
(1) Remove the door lining of overwing emergency-exit door 833, 843, 834 or 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-803).
(2) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
Subtask 52-22-00-110-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the door lining of overwing emergency-exit door 833, 843, 834 or 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-803).
(2) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
D. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If the inspection area is not sufficiently clean, clean it with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If the inspection area is not sufficiently clean, clean it with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 52-22-00-220-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the latch mechanism, the rod assembly and the outer springs of the overwing emergency-exit door for damage or discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up(1) Do a detailed inspection of the latch mechanism, the rod assembly and the outer springs of the overwing emergency-exit door for damage or discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 52-22-00-410-094-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the door lining of overwing emergency-exit door 833, 843, 834 or 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-803).
Subtask 52-22-00-865-082-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the door lining of overwing emergency-exit door 833, 843, 834 or 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-803).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
