3. Procedure
Subtask 52-21-00-040-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Deactivation of the Cabin Overwing Exit
   (1) Put a temporary "DO NOT USE" PLACARD at each deactivated door to tell persons not to use them.
   (2) Put a temporary "DO NOT USE" PLACARD on each of the remaining seats to tell persons not to use them.
   (3) For the deactivated exit(s), put a COVER - BLANKING on the applicable arrow of the related EXIT sign and on the related wall-mounted EXIT sign.
   (4) If the two cabin overwing exits are deactivated on one side:
     (a) Put a COVER - BLANKING on the related EXIT sign.
     (b) Put a COVER - BLANKING on each related wall-mounted EXIT sign.
     (c) Put a COVER - BLANKING on the applicable arrow of the EXIT sign on the ceiling.
4. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Make an entry in the logbook.
