A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at passenger/crew door 832( 842).
(2) Make sure that passenger/crew door 832( 842) is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at passenger/crew door 832( 842).
(2) Make sure that passenger/crew door 832( 842) is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 52-13-31-420-065-A
A. Installation of the Girt-Bar Fitting Blanking-Plates
(1) If necessary, clean all the surfaces between the components with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Install the spacers (4).
(3) Put the blanking plates (3) in position on the structure (1).
(4) Install the screws (2).
(5) Tighten the screws (2).
(6) Apply a bead of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) between the blanking plates (3) and the structure (1).
5. Close-up(1) If necessary, clean all the surfaces between the components with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Install the spacers (4).
(3) Put the blanking plates (3) in position on the structure (1).
(4) Install the screws (2).
(5) Tighten the screws (2).
(6) Apply a bead of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) between the blanking plates (3) and the structure (1).

B. Close Access
(1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close passenger/crew door 832( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
