3. Job Set-up
Subtask 52-13-31-869-052-A

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the applicable passenger/crew door.
(2) Make sure that the passenger/crew door 832 (842) is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-13-31-420-052-A

A. Installation of the Girt Bar Fittings
(1) Clean all the contact surfaces between components with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
(2) Put the girt bar fittings (110) and (120) in position.
(3) Install the screws (111) and (121).
(4) Adjust the position of the girt bar fittings (Ref. AMM TASK 52-13-00-820-001).
(5) Tighten the screws (111) and (121).
(6) Apply a bead of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) between the fittings (110) and (120) and the blanking plates (112) and (122).
(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) on the heads of the screws (111) and (121).

5. Close-up
Subtask 52-13-31-410-057-A

A. Close Access
(1) Remove all the ground support equipment, the maintenance equipment, the standard and special tools and all other items.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(3) Close the passenger/crew door 832 ( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
