A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at passenger/crew door 831( 841).
(2) Make sure that passenger/crew door 831( 841) is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

A. Installation of the Girt Bar Fittings

Girt-Bar Fitting Adjustment

(1) If necessary, clean all the contact surfaces between components with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Put the girt bar fittings (110) and (120) in position.
(3) Install the screws (111) and (121).
(4) Adjust the position of the girt bar fittings (110) and (120) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-11-00-820-001).
(5) Tighten the screws (111) and (121).
(6) Apply a bead of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) between the girt bar fittings (110) and (120) and the blanking plates (112) and (122).
(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) on the heads of the screws (111) and (121).

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close passenger/crew door 831( 841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
