A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position in the front of forward passenger/crew-door 831 ( 841).
(2) Make sure that forward passenger/crew-door 831 ( 841) is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that you obey the special precautions when you do the work on the forward passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position in the front of forward passenger/crew-door 831 ( 841).
(2) Make sure that forward passenger/crew-door 831 ( 841) is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that you obey the special precautions when you do the work on the forward passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).
Subtask 52-11-12-420-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Handle Cover
(1) Make sure that the pushbutton (6) is in the correct position.
(2) Put the handle cover (1) in position on the handle (2) and install the screws (3).
(3) Tighten the screws (3).
(4) Put the handle (2) in position on the arm (8) and install the washers (5), the screws (4) and the nuts (7).
(5) Tighten the nuts (7).
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the pushbutton (6) is in the correct position.
(2) Put the handle cover (1) in position on the handle (2) and install the screws (3).
(3) Tighten the screws (3).
(4) Put the handle (2) in position on the arm (8) and install the washers (5), the screws (4) and the nuts (7).
(5) Tighten the nuts (7).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close aft passenger/crew-door 831 ( 841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
