A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the linings on the support arms at the forward passenger/crew doors are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-46-000-001):

B. Prepare for the Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Door Stay Mechanism
   (1) Put the mechanism (43) in position on the pins (44).
   (2) Install the washers (42) and nuts (41).
   (3) TORQUE the nuts to between 0.35 and 0.3 m.daN (30.97 and 26.55 lbf.in ) T.
   (4) Install the four new
AIPC 52-11-01-06-010 COTTER PIN (40) or AIPC 52-11-81-03-010 COTTER PINS (40).
