A. Get Access
(1) Put on and attach a safety harness before you start work in the work area
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 831 (841) or 832 (842).
(3) Open applicable passenger/crew door 831 ( 841) or 832 ( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(4) Obey the special precautions before you start work on the passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).

Subtask 52-10-00-010-136-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Put on and attach a safety harness before you start work in the work area
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 831 (841) or 832 (842) or 833 (843) or 834 (844).
(3) Open applicable cabin door 831 ( 841) or 832 ( 842) or 833 ( 843) or 834 ( 844) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(4) Obey the special precautions before you start work on the cabin door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-10-00-040-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Deactivation of the Cabin Doors
(1) Close the passenger/crew door from the inner side (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(2) Put a temporary "DO NOT USE" PLACARD at the deactivated door to tell persons not to use it.
(3) Put a temporary "DO NOT USE" PLACARD on each of the affected seats to tell persons not to use them.
(4) Put a cover on each EXIT indication related to the deactivated exit.

5. Close-up

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Obey the special precautions after work on the passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002).
(3) Close applicable passenger/crew door 831 ( 832) or 841 ( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make an entry in the logbook.

Subtask 52-10-00-410-147-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Obey the special precautions after work on the cabin door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002).
(3) Close applicable cabin door 831 ( 832) or 841 ( 842) or 833 ( 843) or 834 ( 844) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make an entry in the logbook.
